Our beautiful georgian barn cottage, dating from 1760, sits overlooking a half acre lake and surrounding parkland setting. Positioned in the peaceful countryside, yet only 15mins from Chester city centre and many attractions. It offers two very spacious double bedrooms with luxury superking 6ft beds. The second bedroom has a zip and link option allowing for two single beds. The cottage is furnished throughout with 18th century antique furniture and opulent sofas. Cosy and homely, a hidden gem!

Explore the wider Wirral area on the network of public footpaths or take a short train ride to the cities of Liverpool or Chester.

It has a spacious, open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room with a separate bedroom (with king sized bed) and large walk-in wardrobe/dressing table. We have a lovely house in the countryside in Cheshire. Our Airbnb is The Bolthole.This is separated from the main house via an internal locking door. For you is a front door with key safe, lounge, comfy sofas, tv, log burner, 2 double bedrooms one with a tv, and bathroom with shower. Kitchen area with airfryer,kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge the only thing we don’t have is a kitchen sink but we wash up for you! Workspace and guest wifi access available. Outdoor seating available. :-) x

A quaint cottage, at Aston Hill Farm, Ewloe

This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.
