I'm glad your cozy lott was available this week. It made traveling for work almost as if I were home! Wish it was available last week & next. I appreciate all that you have to offer here including the homemade Italian cookies YUMM! This will be the 1st place I search if I'm ever sent back to this area, no doubt! Until then stay safe! Outside: Cabin 1 is tucked in far enough from the "main" road, and looks out onto a field, which was snow covered during our visit. The number of stars visible on a clear night is awe inspiring. The closest neighbors are the winery and Cabin 2, a good distance away on each side. Inside: There was no visible dust on the ceiling fan blades, which in addition to being a pet peeve of mine, is also usually a dead giveaway about the overall cleanliness of a rental. But with its clean fan blades and spotless interior, Cabin 1 was without a doubt one of the cleanest -- probably **the** cleanest -- AirBnB rental I've ever had. Seriously, it was spotless. As other reviewers have stated, the kitchen is well-stocked. The heat works great in the winter, it was between 5 - 19 degrees outside, but nice and warm inside during our stay. We were very happy to be able to bring our dog, who felt right at home, too. I don't have any complaints. I would definitely stay in Shelly's cabin again.

What a pleasurable stay for our extended family. The house was meticulous and beautiful. This was not a cheap flip. This home was done with care for detail. The view was absolutely magnificent, and what a treat to see elk and deer come to the pasture for the children to see. Everyone in our family said how much they loved the stay. It was well worth the 2 1/2 hr drive!

This is our second year here. Wonderful accommodations

We had a great time and it was beautiful and peaceful. Everything was as described and Jeff and Tarra were always available! I would second their suggestion to not bring a low car, as the road up is quite rough. You will feel like you’re truly away here.

This is our third day. It was a wonderful stay, per usual. Kayla and Jason have been phenomenal hosts every single time.

We stayed while at the Ridgway Chainsaw Carvers’ Rendezvous this week. It was a perfect place to relax after being around people all day each day. The back deck was awesome for our family, and we sat around the fire each evening. The beds were a little soft for me (but that comes down to personal preference). The water pressure was great, I don’t think there was one thing I wanted or needed that wasn’t there. When I messaged for clarity on something, Becca was responsive, clear, and friendly. My daughter forgot a beloved stuffed dog there and she went above and beyond in offering to mail it to us. If we come back to the area for next years event, we will definitely stay here again! PS the paper mill smell is definitely off putting but it’s moreso sulfur in nature, or was for our stay, and that’s easy to get used to. It didn’t smell inside the house. We didn’t get to take advantage of the gym passes but it was a nice touch also, as were the snacks, and water bottles.

This property was perfect for a serene family getaway. It has stunning views, and wild life activity. Our host was very communicative, they provided safety gear for walks on the property, and local suggestions for activities.
