Peaceful, the horse's were beautiful to look at everyday, it hasa relaxing feel and I worked third shift at the hospital and no complaints at all.

Accommodations are definitely worth the cost. Apt is clean with many amenities. Great location for getting around Culpeper Co. Restaurants and supplies are close by. You’ll find this space much more like home than staying in a motel. Host is very responsive and helped with practical needs.

We had a wonderful stay and we loved being able to bring our dog with us. Close to town and very close to the wedding venue we were going to, which was super convenient. Easy drive to Shenandoah as well. The apartment was large and had a lot of really nice touches to make our stay comfortable. We would definitely stay again if we’re in the area in the future!

Beautiful and comfortable space for an excellent value. Would absolutely stay again! Loved seeing all of the baby farm animals in the morning.

Qasim and his wife were so wonderful and responsive the entire stay. He even came right home to help me when the power triped to restart my laundry haha I felt so bad he came all the way back but he was just so kind and never made us feel like a bother at all. Their back yard is incredible! They play jungle gym was a major hit for my kids! And it was incredible having a nice fenced back yard for our dog to play too. Overall the entire experience was lovely and the hosts were just as good if not better than anyone could ever hope for! I love that their place is also in a safe and relaxing neighborhood close to DC which is exactly what we were looking for with our 4kids and our dog! Beautiful stay and beautiful people! Highly recommend staying at Kay’s place and we hope to return some day. The space is so comfortable and has everything you need including SO MANY snacks Kay thoughtfully put out. The property is amazingly peaceful, we loved watching the horses or walking on the doubletrack path around the mountain that started directly from their house. Kay was so friendly and we felt right at home.

Perfect place to stay for my 2 daughters and myself while visiting Foxcroft School in Middleburg. We really enjoyed how close the apartment was to downtown restaurants and shops. The apartment itself is brand new, smells fresh, very quiet with lovely views out every window. Both mattresses were wonderfully comfortable. I appreciated the blackout drapes in the twin room. The climate control was perfect (and I’m an HVAC snob so a good judge of quality). There is a shared greenhouse space, which we didn’t utilize, as we didn’t want to disturb the occupants of the main house. Would stay here again without question!

Fabulously beautiful location. Picturesque. Home was lovely, comfortable and delightful to stay in. Many great places to sit, enjoyable amenities. Host was kind to allow us some flexibility to support our family's needs. So appreciated! Highly recommend!

We stayed for a wedding and they let us check in early which was a life saver! The house was very clean and felt right at home. The hosts were very responsive and the place was close to the venue goodstone inn which was very convenient for the wedding. Definitely would recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the area

Quiet place to stay close to Culpeper but not in the town. Easy to get downtown. Very nicely decorated.

The house was perfect for our family Middleburg weekend stay. It was clean, cozy, well stocked, and centrally located. The tavern across the street was so convenient and added a local feel. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

I have stayed in a lot of places in and around Middleburg and this one is one of the most charming. The attention to detail is clearly exhibited throughout; the decorating, the ease of getting supplies, etc. It was an incredibly cozy retreat on rainy days, and offered a plethora of outside space for sunny ones. We all felt incredibly comfortable. Thank you!

Connie's Rock Cottage was amazing! much thought was put into this cottage. Firewood and fire starter for the wood stove on chilly nights, robes we used for getting to and from the private hot tub just steps outside the back door,map of entire 550 acres of land including the wonderful paved walkway which meanders through the property. This was the mosr exceptionally prepared kitchen we have seen in out travels. Tons of utensils, a full set of potsand pans, dish towels, trivets, cutting boards and cooking sheets! We love to cook together when we travel and this kitchen was big enough for 2! We got some amazing pictures all over the farm. The lack of light pollution allowed us to enjoy the stars and Pink Full Moon in all their glory! We will be back to enjoy this cottage again!

Great writers retreat. Super quiet and cozy, close to quant small towns and home cooked restaurants. I would book it again.

We had a great time during our stay. It was beautiful and peaceful. Loved the view from the bathroom window! To top it off, the sunsets were marvelous!
