Four of us had a very pleasant stay at Lesley's place. Very cosy and well equipped and great location for us as we continued to walk the Icknield Way. The setting of the pub is very attractive and Lesley and her husband were very welcoming. Definitely recommend.

A very quirky cottage, beautiful interior , lovely little garden with a seating area, parking for one car . Great location close to the high road , for provisions, coffee shops, restaurants, take aways etc( cottage very peaceful, no traffic noise) nice walks nearby for walking the dogs. Ideal location for me as I was visiting family and friends nearby . Owners live next door should you need them ( I didn’t , as everything was catered for) Will definitely be back . We loved our stay at Andy’s place with our parents and our 2 young children. It is in a beautiful and peaceful village. The cottage is really quirky, clean and cosy - had everything we needed for our stay, Andy has thought of lots of extra details which make it a really enjoyable stay. Everything is easy to find and use with Andy’s helpful notes and labels. We really loved the toys and games for the kids so this kept them entertained! we were lucky with the weather our stay we used the lovely little garden a lot which is private and a nice wee suntrap, also has the added bonus of the sauna which was brilliant. Andy was really friendly and helpful upon check in and out and quick communication if we needed anything. Would really recommend a stay here and we will definitely return if back in the area. Thanks so much!

Perfect rural escape in Farmhouse & Cottage annex

Stayed in the whole property with a family group aged 9-to 75. Hannah was a great host and everyone absolutely loved it. It is a beautiful home in a beautiful part of the world and Hannah and her family have clearly put a lot of thought and care into anticipating the needs of their guests. Decor and equipment all of a very high standard and beds and furniture very comfortable. lots of lovely little touches to make sure your stay is comfortable. Tony who popped in to check hot tub water quality was very friendly and welcoming but also unobtrusive. Lovely dog walks from the farm on foot or short drive away. Hannah had lots of fabulous suggestions of places to visit and see, but We didn’t manage to work through the full list as we were so happy hanging out at the house most of the time. Whole family very keen to come again - resounding verdict was that it was an unbeatable holiday venue.

Fishing lodges

This place is just stunning. Beautifully decorated and kitted out. Everything comfortable and homely. The hot tub was spotless and soooo lovely. Parking right outside your lodge. The setting is idyllic with the fishing lake just in front and it’s so very peaceful. You can feed the ducks as they come up to the lodges. There’s donkeys, geese, ducks, alpacas and peacock/hen. There even a games room on site with a snooker and pool table and dart board with lots of board games etc you can play. A lovely welcome package on arrival that included a bottle of Prosecco, bread, milk and biscuits. Really helpful guy on site that couldn’t do enough for us (think his name was David). Good comms with the owner Sharon. Would highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful time at Danessa’s beautiful cottage. The place is very well equipped and super comfortable. The surroundings are gorgeous and all you hear and see is exquisite wild life. I would very happily stay there again and have no hesitation to recommend it.

What a beautiful place to stay courtesy of two wonderful host, Michael and Sam. Their place is in a peaceful location, our children loved placing outside in the garden. That’s for the great stay Michael and Sam, it was great to meet you in the pub and very kind of you to buy us a round! I highly recommend your place.

Anne’s place is an impressive modern house in the bones of a Victorian semi. The kitchen is a fantastic, light space, ideal for entertaining. There is also living room seating and an excellent TV and piano as part of the open plan area. The bedrooms are plain but incredibly clean and comfortable. Everything about the place just works. Communication is with an agency, but they were fast and helpful. It’s on a quiet, family street 10 minutes to the station and a short bus ride or 25-minute walk to the centre. Tip to anyone staying - you only need to tap the keypad, not push.

This was a great place to stay in Cambridge. It's not right in the city center but easily walkable to all the sights. Matt & Mari were very responsive and extremely patient with all our silly questions, and we ended up having to change our check-in date-time, and they were very flexible. The place is super cute. Cozy living room and a lovely new kitchen. We were lucky to have great weather while we were there, and there's a lovely little garden area out back where you could sit and relax. We never seemed to have time to do that, though, as we were busy taking in all the sights. Next time! Would love to come back.

ideal place if you fly from Luton airport,we have stayed a night after a late flight. very close to the airport and McDonald's near by which is also convenient if you arrive late and hungry. place was immaculate and very clean,beds were comfortable and the shower was great. highly recommend
