Take it easy at this tranquil riverside getaway. A self contained, open concept unit. Relax on the back deck and watch the birds and look for deer, or bring your kayaks and launch them right from the back yard. 1km to Nova Scotia famous Mavillette beach. Mavillette river in the back yard is great for swimming and leads right through the wetlands to the Ocean. In the rural Acadian community of Clare, you will find our fully equipped, recently updated, 1 bedroom + loft A-Frame style chalet sitting on a quiet lake. The beautiful view can be enjoyed from wall to wall windows, wrap around deck, or while sitting in the hot tub. Loft: 1 king & 1 single bed - excellent for traveling with children. Star gaze from the hot tub, grab a book and relax the a hammock under the birch trees or take a bike ride(bikes provided) along the Barrington Trail. The property has direct access to the trail which is great for walks, runs, bicycles and atvs. It also connects with the sidewalk in town which leads right to North East Point Beach. *Pet friendly upon request

The Narrows

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Enjoy this cozy cabin nestled on private lakefront property. Shoreline connecting two large lakes and river flowing to the ocean. Great place for swimming, canoeing and fishing. Located 5 minutes from Mavilette Beach Provincial Park and nearby a convenience store. This newly built cabin is equipped with full bathroom, kitchen and two queen sized beds. It also has outdoor chairs, fire pit, bbq, picnic table and 2 kayaks.

We are currently building on/renovating to add a larger living room, fireplace and an additional bedroom. I have the dates starting on September open for bookings. No cleaning fee!! The location says Tusket, it’s Quinan on Lake Kegeshook. The cottage is a farmhouse style with white walls, lots of windows and high ceilings allowing for great light. A remote location, quiet and perfect for relaxing. Only a 20 mins drive in from the Tusket exit and 35 minutes to Yarmouth.
