This house is beautiful with tall ceilings and the deck is huge with lots of seating. We loved the layout of the house and enjoyed having meals on the deck. We did have a few complaints, but the company handled them quickly and thoroughly; and they were very friendly about it! My 3 yr old son loved the house and didn't want to leave! Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The best part was taking a drive on the forest road (right off the 260) and seeing wild horses and lots of deer. Highly recommend exploring the first roads!

We are always looking for someplace that is literally in the middle of nowhere. This would be the place that was exactly what we were looking for. About 30 minutes outside of Payson down a windy Mountain Road and then 3 miles of dirt road. After that, you come upon this beautiful cabin on the water. There are some neighbors that I do believe they are probably vacation homes as we only saw two people the entire time we were there, and they were across the other side of the water. Like he states this is an old cabin, but I think that helps with the charm of being in a secluded location. As others have stated yes the driveway is steep but nothing that’s not manageable. Brian was very communicative and even helped with some local antique stores to visit . He even has adorable vintage and antique touches all over the house. We would absolutely stay here again.

This is a quiet, comfortable lower level walkout home. Everything you need is available. The covered patio is a great place for morning coffee or a bbq in the evening on the family size gas grill. Our only advice is about parking . It is a very steep driveway. Our midsize SUV was difficult to park in the designated spot. As seniors, the optional parking spot at the bottom of driveway meant a steep climb up to the entry door, but I don’t think it would be an issue for younger adults or families. I recommend this Air BnB.

What a great find. Home was exactly what was shown and the closeness to the water was amazing. The sounds from the water were incredible. Everything you need was provided by Alissa and her communication was prompt and helpful. We didn't use half of what was there- ie: pool table, ping pong table, fire pit. We brought our granddaughter and daughter and made great memories. We can't wait to come back and continue exploring. Highly recommend the hike to the railroad tunnel. So cool to see that history.

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love it. It is so comfortable and you feel right at home. Beautiful surroundings, sunrises and sunset's. We will absolutely be referring all of our family and friends. Patricia thank you for opening your home up to us.

We felt right at home at the cabin! Everything was wonderful and Jake was super responsive with all of our questions. We plan to stay again!

It was a wonderful getaway from the Phoenix area. Cabin was bigger than expected as the picture do not do it justice and plenty of room for everyone. Loved the stay!

This was our second stay here and it was just as perfect as the first. It was the perfect place to chill and spend some family time. We mostly stayed in and cooked, played pool, and watched movies. We went to the county park which was super close and spent some time outdoors there as well. We love the home itself and the location for escaping the valley. Definitely recommend for a family getaway. My only recommendation because we did the same thing both times- make sure you have “Heber” in the address or you might wind up at the same address across the road in Overgaard. Completely our mistake because Denice gave us perfect instructions. I just followed the GPS and didn’t notice until we arrived :)

Place was great, super clean! David’s response time was amazing and made sure we were taken care of!
