Spacious and clean. The bed was really comfortable and the temperature. It was easy to control. The view from the windows in the deck was not great, considering the abandon hotel, and the retaining wall in the front yard. but it was very close to town, and easy to get to all the attractions.

Great location in Lake Placid and is within walking distance to great restaurants, shopping and Mirror Lake. The views of the mountains are really wonderful. The house is clean and well stocked. It exceeded our expectations will definitely come back again.

Sherri was very considerate and always responded quickly. Some miscommunication on my part and she was thoughtful and easy to work with.

It was our second time staying there and we love the walkable distance to all in-town restaurants and Mirror Lake. The place is clean and cozy to enjoy with family or friends. The front porch has a nice view of sunsets.

This is our second time staying at Vadim's place and I will likely continue to come back here each time we visit Placid. The home is clean, spacious and has a beautiful view from the balcony. I cannot recommend it more highly.

Jenny & Ania’s place was perfect. It’s one of the best Airbnbs I’ve been to. The only bad thing was that we stayed just one night so we couldn’t enjoy the place fully. You get nice views of the lake through the big wide windows. Also you have your own private sauna and jetted tub. I’d really recommend this amazing place to anyone visiting the area!

second visiting here and just as awesome as the first time. it's clean, beds are very comfortable. location is perfect and near the college and saranac. Sarah is a great host and very helpful. my husband and I love this spot. definately one of the best!!!

The house sits right on Lake Flower and has a spectacular view. There are a good number of neighbors in the area that seem interested in talking with people staying there, so not a secluded location. Nice to be close to downtown. Kitchen is equipped with the basics that you need.

Great house for a family ski trip up to Titus. Very quiet, perfect for our little musical family, fully stocked kitchen, very thoughtful extras, great local suggestions, super responsive and friendly host, amazing location, I could go on and on. It truly felt like a cozy home away from home. Will definitely stay here again next winter!

We had a great stay at Lina's. It was a nice location in the heart of Placid, within walking distance to some things in town, and very convenient to Saranac and the various cross country ski spots we wanted to check out while there. We found the bedrooms and linens very comfortable, and both kitchens were pretty well-stocked (lots of pots and pans, an electric kettle, dish towels, etc) and were able to cook several nice meals there.

Had a wonderful long weekend in Lake Placid with two couples, a toddler, and a dog. Our stay was comfortable and the location was great - very walkable to shops, restaurants, and attractions on Main Street. The carport was definitely a plus since it snowed while we were there.

James and his wife were very friendly and gave us a little history of the house. They made us feel welcome. They advised us of a great restaurant in Tupper Lake and it was as good as they described. The view of Green Pond is beautiful from the big windows in the home. The kitchen has everything that you need. We hope to go back again.

Beautiful and very spacious place across the street from Mirror Lake and within walking distance to town. Easy drive to all the activities Lake Placid has to offer. Additional downstairs living room is a great set up for kids.

Tupper Lake is a quaint and serene Adirondack getaway location and we were enamored with the natural areas we visited. We had a great stay and had everything we needed at Catherine’s place for an extended weekend getaway for a small family and pet. Checking in and out were so easy and we never had to worry or think about logistics or parking or anything really-instructions were clear and uncomplicated. The view from the house was wonderful; watching the pink and soft red sunsets over the water was a nightly ritual. There were places right within walking distance of the house, too, like a movie theater and the Adirondack Sky Center StarLab. The nearby playground is great for families, too. Catherine’s recommendations to local hiking and eats were so helpful and much appreciated. The Wild Center is a five minute drive away and was a trip highlight. We’d love to return. Huge thanks to Catherine for her hospitality and guidance and a wonderful stay!
