Lovely hostel in a great spot less than a minutes walk away from a stunning view of Mount Fuji, breakfast was recommended at a cafe at check in for a great price and was lovely food in the morning. Very clean shared spaces and a lovely place to spend a night near the mountain! Would highly recommend

A nice accommodation, with a lot of equipment in the kitchen like fresh coffee, snacks etc. The check-in was very flexible and smooth. We were able to reserve a free parking space before checking in. Also the receptionist was very friendly and had a lot of good tips for restaurants and activities in the area. All in all a great and good value stay if you don’t want to spend too much!

We spent 3 wonderful nights in a traditional Japanese tatami room, sleeping on futon mattresses. It was bright early in the room due to the traditional windows. We did not have a room with a view of Mount Fuji, however the common area did and we had breakfast there most mornings with incredible views of Mount Fuji. Free bikes were provided and we cycled around lake Kawaguchiko. Tohru is an enthusiastic host who picked us up and dropped us at the bus station. He is an excellent photographer and his work is on display throughout the inn, providing great suggestions of the nicest places to take photos of Mount Fuji. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. I highly recommend this place.

Nous avons passé une nuit avec un groupe de 15 amis. Le logement était impeccable, les chambres confortables, le Onsen reposant et le jardin parfait pour faire un petit feu de camp. Je recommande fortement !

Our stay in Kawaguchiko was absolutely wonderful! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The host was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming – we truly appreciated their hospitality. We felt comfortable right away and would love to come back in the future. I really like this place! Amazing location, kind staff, cheap bicycle rentals, super clean and very aesthetic vibe! My only complaint is that if there was AC i couldn’t find it and the place is a little expensive. I think it’s expensive cause of its convenient location literally on Honcho street where the famous pictures with Fuji-San are taken, so i understand. Regardless this is a very very nice place!!

All was great. Comfortable and warm room, very clean kitchen and room. Host was helpful to recommend restaurants and give us tips. also fast reply on message.

I spent a wonderful night here with peace and love, Jun plays his role best at both of good friend and kind hostel owner. It is easy to get contact with Jun by pickup and other any necessary information. I was so surprised by Jun’s fluent English that we could communicate for so much fun things. I wish I would visit here soon in the future, I truly love this wonderful secret garden out of the city. I was totally agreed with what Jun has ever said: “Tokyo is just Tokyo, countryside represents the real Japan.” Come and stay here for naturally and enjoyable.

Incredible place to stay! Better than the pictures! We were lucky and had clear skies to see Mt Fuji. Besides the accommodations being clean and comfortable, the staff are so responsive and kind. When we arrived in Hakone, they came to the bus stop, picked up our luggage and then we went right into enjoying Lake Ashi. The bags were delivered to the room when we checked in. They also drop off/pickup for restaurants within a close distance from the Airbnb (but a long-ish walk of 30 minutes), though there were limited dinner options in the area in early May. The staff was very helpful navigating the transit system for the trip back to Tokyo during golden week. I stayed for 1 night and was in Hakone for just 1.5 days - though I wish I could have stayed one extra night. If you are deciding if it’s worth the travel for a short overnight stay, I recommend yes! It rained all day and still a great trip because popular places were less crowded (ropeway, open air museum, etc)

Expérience vraiment magique dans ce ryokan traditionnel. Vu spectaculaire sur le lac et le mon fuji. Calme absolu tous est très propre et bien pensé. Expérience très agréable dans le onsen privatisé mixte dans le cas où vous le privatisé. Petit déjeuné traditionnel copieux. L’hôte vraiment très serviable et se rend disponible pour vous faciliter vos déplacements dans les cas ou vous n’avez pas de voiture.

住的很舒服也很开心 老板很热情中国菜真的太好吃啦！本来我们还想点两个菜但是居然免费的餐食这么好吃而且份量非常够 很温馨的一个民宿 我们去的时候因为没有提前说让老板来接 折腾了很久 走的时候老板送我们去车站了

オーナーの方はとても親切で柔軟に対応してくださいました。お風呂は大きくは無かったものの、とても趣きのある作りの天然温泉があり、とてもくつろげました。 また機会があればぜひ利用したい宿泊先です。

Un très bon moment passé dans l'hotel où le responsable fait le maximum pour faciliter la vie des voyageurs. Les chambres sont propres et donnent sur une très belle vue !

We stayed here as a couple and absolutely loved it! The place is a bit remote – about 30 min by bus plus a short walk, or around 3,000 yen by taxi. parking is available. It’s very quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for. There are no minimarkets or restaurants nearby, but a small bakery is located right in front of the property, which was quite handy for a quick snack. Our room was spacious, with a stunning view of the lake and mountain, just like in the pictures. It included a fridge, microwave, kettle, instant soup, and a wardrobe. You can use a partition to create two separate areas, which is great for families. We could book a private onsen for 50 min per day – a real highlight. Coffee and dishes were available in the lobby. No shoes are allowed inside; slippers are provided, though not all sizes fit well. You can also rent normal and electric bikes. The host was incredibly kind and always helpful. We felt very welcome.We’d 100% stay again. A beautiful and restful getaway
