Guests also have use of outdoor riverfront kitchen and grill, outdoor fire pit, and freezers for storing your catch. Whether you are a fisherman, photographer, or explorer, you will love it here. Kenai river access for fishing a short walk from your cabin. 13 acres allows for the chance see wildlife from your porch while having coffee from the Keurig coffee maker. Sleeps 4 with 2 twin beds in loft & 1 in queen in main living area. This Waterfront Cabin offers magnificent views of Cook Inlet, Twin Glaciers, Mt. Redoubt, Mt. Iliamna, Mt. Augustine, and Mt. Spurr, (all 4 are active volcanoes) The Waterfront Cabin has an abundance of wildlife including Moose, Eagles, Beluga whales (seasonal), an occasional Bear and more. There is Large yard, picnic table and fire-pit to share. The Waterfront Cabin is ten minutes from downtown Kenai and the Kenai River.

Historic Russian Cabin With Ocean Views

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.
