Such a wonderful experience at their treehouse, can't wait to come back another time~. Hosts were accommodating and responsive!

The cabin was clean, homey, and stocked with everything we needed for a fun girls' trip! One thing worth noting is that the upstairs/loft bathroom and bedroom do not have a wall separating them, which we didn't expect, but it wasn't too much of a problem as there is another bathroom downstairs. All in all the hosts were very communicative and we had such a great time during g our stay! I would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely time--the location was great and the stay was exactly as advertised. A comfortable home to come back to after a day of adventures on the island!

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah's cabin in the woods. The lighting and atmosphere of the place was just what we hoped for from the description. We were pleased with the private space and took full advantage of the hot tub and proximity to Mystic beach. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a quiet and relaxing spot that is near the surf or hiking trails of the Juan de Fuca trail.

My family of four stayed at Nyna's to attend a wedding over the Labour Day long weekend and enjoy some relaxation time at Rathtrevor Beach. The cabin had an absolutely perfect location for our purposes. It is an easy 20-minute walk to the beach, but we also drove to Rathtrevor whenever the kids insisted on bringing an excessive number of toys to play in the sand. The cabin itself was exactly as described and pictured. We were not entirely sure of our check-in time due to needing to pick up supplies on our way to the cabin, but Nyna still stuck around to welcome us in person upon our arrival and give us a personal tour of the place. She was an extremely responsive and helpful host. We would highly recommend her place to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you, Nyna!

The cottage was great for our family of 5! Equipped with beach towels, toys, and even a mini cooler - this makes beach going easy. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the beds and sofa beds were all comfy! Thanks so much for a great stay!

Our stay at Madeira park was beyond our expectations. Gayle & Lee are great host for their guest. Also dogs get a warm welcome. We really loved everything about the accomodation, the vieuw, the bed, the cosy woodburner, the hottub, nice linnen, the styling. There was a nice welcome for us with artisan bread and jam. We really enjoyd the sunsetboattrip and getting to use the kajaks. Great location. Away from the highway and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, a short 1km walk, drive or bike to the public beach or local wooded area to take the dog for a morning or afternoon walk. Douglas and Kate are kind and responsive, always reaching out to make sure the stay is as positive as possible. The accommodation was quaint and cosy for 4 people. The single bathroom is quite small so keep that in mind. Everything was clean and organized and well laid out. We enjoyed spending our mornings drinking coffee or tea on a sun-kissed balcony, surrounded by the sound of birds and squirrels. The beds are really comfy and the dark and quiet nights made for restful sleeps. Would have loved to stay longer and enjoy a night out around the fireplace. Really appreciated the hospitality - would visit again for sure.

Wanda was an amazing host with one of the most beautiful and well kept properties we have seen. She was unbelievably accommodating and had the most lovely energy. We really enjoyed how spacious the cottage was, as well as all of the amenities — such as the well stocked kitchen and the thoughtful touches placed throughout the house. The gardens were extremely beautiful and she provided a propane tank for us when we decided to use the grill. We felt very welcome and loved the company of her dog dusty as well 💕 we would absolutely return for a serene getaway again!

We had such a lovely stay at Raquel’s place! Raquel was super responsive and easy to communicate with—she gave us lots of helpful info about the area, and when we ran out of pancake mix, she even brought us a new bag (so thoughtful!). The place itself is really cute and peaceful, with cows nearby and a sweet big black cat we got to meet. It’s in a great location too—right off the main road and just a minute away from a cider place we really enjoyed. The room was spotless and well equipped. We appreciated the selection of teas, the automatic coffee machine, and even dog biscuits—it’s clear a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. There were a few harmless ants here and there, but honestly nothing to complain about. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

Vilupti & Timothy are wonderful hosts and we were lucky to catch them on our visit. They were so welcoming and friendly and really made a difference. Their property is beautiful and truly special. The view at the water is so memorable and if you're looking for some peace and quiet this is the place. Just far away enough from everything but still not more than 20min from anything. Highly recommend this stay for families!

I came to the tiny seaside retreat looking for a beautiful place where I could disconnect from my life and get started on writing a novel, and I wasn't disappointed! It was perfect: cozy home, beautiful views and a great host to help me throughout my stay! Lauri was super responsive and helpful whenever I needed anything. The place was big enough for my needs and well stocked with everything you could ask for. I was nervous about the loft bedroom with the low ceilings, but I can honestly say I've never slept better in my life. I was grateful for the option of the fold out bed downstairs but didn't end up using it. Sitting out on the decks and writing each day while looking out over the water was heaven. I got to see one of the resident otters! I will definitely be a return visitor... I'm already planning it! Thanks so much for being so awesome, Lauri!

We spent Easter Sunday and another day at this magical cottage near Turtleback Mountain. It was a really beautiful setting, including tulips and other flowers blooming in the planter beds along the porch. The perfect setting for our Easter egg hunt with the kids. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a very nice couple days on Orcas Island. A very nice quiet, remote place that I would recommend to friends looking for a place to stay on Orcas.

Jennifer was lovely and had a very quick response time . The house was in excellent condition and lived up to all of our hopes and needs! Highly recommend

We had such a wonderful stay. The cabin was so cute and comfortable. The bed and couch was very comfortable, kitchen had all the amenities we needed and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio enjoying the view of the water and listening to the birds. The cabin is in a great location to spend a day in Victoria, venture to the Malahat Skywalk, or checking out the Merridale Cidery & Distillery and wineries in the area. I highly recommend the Cook & Butcher restaurant in Cowichan Bay. Also close to Ladysmith to check out the amazing bakery on the main street and beach. Nina Jean and Steve were lovely hosts and very hospitable with amazing communication with us making sure we had the best stay. We would not hesitate to return again as it was just so relaxing and everything we hoped for and more, and we were able to bring our Labrador with us and he loved meeting Toby, the host's dog. Would absolutely highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing stay on Vancouver Island.

James’ place was the perfect getaway for our family. The water taxi to the cottage was an added bonus! The area surrounding the cottage is secluded, quiet and very tranquil. James’ was a great communicator and extremely responsive. Will definitely return!

We absolutely loved staying at the farm! Lisa is very welcoming and the animals are irresistible. The yurt was charming and peaceful and the amenities were perfect for our stay. We loved visiting with the donkeys (Stanley & Ollie), goats, and cows (Evangeline & Lulu) while strolling through the farm, take in the fresh air, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. It was as perfect a getaway as we could have hope for. Thank you!

Amazing stay! My friends and I had a blast! Lovely locations on the water, water is so clean when tide is in (we did a lovely cold plunge). Definitely need four wheel drive to get down but not bad if you do!

I took my daughter and 3 of her friends for a birthday celebration and they enjoyed the swimming hole and sauna. It was a great sleeping set up for them. And with being so remote, it truly felt like a far away adventure. Being from salt spring, we are more prepared for rustic. For anyone that’s not as used to rustic, then it might be a bit of an adjustment. The view is gorgeous. And we had a great time. Great chats with Roman as well. Thanks!

Wonderful place for a family, lovely sea view, lots of place to sit and have a picnic outside, pristine clean, kayaks and a boat available to borrow for free, free snacks and fully equipped kitchen. Very friendly and responsive host. Washer and dryer available to use as well. Will definitely be back!

One of my favorite places Ive stayed anywhere. So perfectly executed in every way. The Cabin was a jewel box from a architectural perspective and the view towards the water was mesmerizing. I would highly recommend staying here! Can’t wait to come back and stay at The Perch or The Shed!

Lovely and cosy cabin located in Jordan River near beautiful hiking trails and beaches. Our favourites local spots were Shirley Delicious, Mystic Beach, Botanical Beach, and the Sherringham Lighthouse. The cabin is well equipped to prepare meals ourselves, with a fully supplied kitchen and an outdoor barbecue. Closest grocery store is about 40 minutes away from the cabin, which our host informed us of prior to our arrival. The exterior of the cabin is also equipped for optimal cosiness and relaxation with an outdoor dining area, a fire pit, and an outdoor shower. We truly loved visiting the area and the cabin was a great spot to rest and replenish our energies before next days’ adventures.
