This is a bespoke Shepherd's Hut designed for a couple or a single, set in a 12 acre ornamental garden with Sea Views & Lakes. Close to beaches, Golf, Fishing, and the attractive seaside village of Portpatrick, with restaurants. The ferry to Belfast & Larne (6 ) at Cairnryan. Stranraer ( 7) miles with all facilities. In the cooler months the log fire heats the hut up very quickly. Wood provided. Drying facilities at house. If you want something different Glenwhan Gardens is for you.

Double ensuite bedroom. Work space and wifi. Small self catering kitchen with small fridge/ freezer, microwave, single radiant hob, kettle, washing machine and toaster. Dishes, cutlery and basics, like cereal, milk, o j, butter, bread, tea and coffee supplied to start you off. Separate access from main house. 30 minute drive to Glasgow and 20 minutes Ayrshire coast. Good rail links. Good local amenities and park/nature trail. Dog friendly. Restaurants within walking distance. Small garden

Cosy quiet bungalow in Galloway Forest Park

Culsharg Cottage is a cosy two-bed bungalow in Glentrool, the only village in Galloway Forest Dark Skies Park. It's a beautiful, peaceful, rural location. You can expect awesome starry skies, and if you're lucky, maybe even the Aurora. Glentrool is all about the outdoors, with plenty of biking, wild swimming and walking nearby. We are right in the heart of the stunning Galloway Forest and part of the UNESCO designated Biosphere, with trees, streams, lochs and mountains right on the doorstep.

Rural cottage in total tranquility

What was once a chicken shed is now a sweet, cosy pet-friendly cottage perfect for families, adventurers, readers, writers, nature lovers. There are two bedrooms (one king size bed, one twin), a wood burning stove, lovely fresh characterful décor, books, a spacious kitchen, stunning views. You can explore beautiful beaches, great small towns, rolling hills or just enjoy looking out the window. You'll hear owls, see hares and red kites and get a taste of this undiscovered corner of Scotland.

Burnbrae Byre

Truly luxurious holiday accommodation in a tastefully converted byre, set in a tranquil, rural location, but ideally located for all that the south- west has to offer. The cottage is beautifully presented with hard wood floors and finishes throughout, including a wood-burning stove in the spacious living room, sumptuous beds chosen for their quality and comfort, and fully equipped to make a superb holiday cottage. Enclosed courtyard garden with an outlook over the owners' adjoining garden.

The Granary, Little Tahall Farm

The Granary is situated on our small working farm with stunning views over Wigtown Bay. Sleeps 2/4 with twin or double bedroom downstairs, single/double bed can be provided in lounge. Small child friendly, travel cot, high chair etc available. Short drive to beaches, Galloway Forest, hills and coast. Five minutes from Wigtown, handy for the Book Festival. Great for bikers, cyclists, walkers, bird watching or relaxing. One well behaved dog welcome, please advise us before arrival.

Secluded Cottage with amazing views

Recently renovated with a new garden room, utility, extra bedroom, upgraded kitchen, wifi and digital TV and enclosed garden this secluded cosy cottage has spectacular 360 panoramic views over Wigtown Bay. It is perfect for families or two couples. Kids have space to make dens, climb trees or toast marshmallows. In summer relax on the patio and sip a cool drink. In winter curl up with a book or board game and enjoy the stunning views from the cosy interior.

Back Lodge. Alticry Farm

Well appointed cottage with spectacular setting and very private. Panoramic views over Luce Bay. Mull of Galloway lighthouse is the view from your double bed. Please note electric cars can be charged at Wigtown or Whithorn. Fast charges 50kw and 25p/kilowatt. Cottage wiring and fuses not suitable. The low power adds 4miles per charge and puts a great strain on the wiring/fuses. Like leaving a 8 bar heater on therefore not available at the cottage.

Kinganton Bothy, private studio with sea views

The Bothy is a modern self-contained studio adjacent to our home. An old stone bothy converted in 2017, the accommodation offers a private open plan space with it's own entrance, patio garden and parking. Situated on a smallholding looking out to sea in a beautiful region on the Solway coast, secluded beaches and coves are only a 15 minute stroll and the artists town of Kirkcudbright a short drive away. We offer a 15% discount for weekly stays.
