I absolutely loved this place, it was very roomy, lots to do for the kids, the jetted tub was a plus. The hot tub was relaxing after a day of fun in helen. The best part was it was right on a private lake right out your front door where the fishing was absolutely amazing, I do believe I out fished my husband. I would definitely enjoy returning. I really enjoyed this stay. Thank you Joni for a amazing overall trip.

this is epic!!! not really mobility impaired friendly, however my husband could still get around with a walker and assisted by myself. he LOVED this place. magical! the living room furniture was cute but not extra comfy for a big guy like him. otherwise this place was one of the best on the east coast!!

We spent a month here and felt at home from the moment we arrived. A beautifully remodeled farm home with a picturesque view of the foothills and farmland. Super close to Yaoola Creek park and Dahlonega center, too. And if any issue arose, they responded immediately. Jeana, the property manager, went above and beyond for us. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an escape to the beautiful north Georgia countryside.

Very peaceful stay for 4 adults just before new years. The woodburning stove was helpful for chilly nights, and the hot tub was enjoyed. Murphy and the surrounding areas are wonderful to explore. Would visit again sometime.

By far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! The place was absolutely stunning! Nicely decorated and has everything you can think of. From extra pillows, towels, utensils, cookware, spices, etc. We truly enjoyed every amenity from the fire pit and hot tub to the sauna. Erica was very responsive to all of our questions, which made everything smooth. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Blue Ridge.

We really enjoyed staying here! The house was beautiful, nicely furnished and located in an area that is peaceful that is also a short drive to shops and restaurants. My children really enjoyed watching the cows and horses which can be seen from nearly every window.

The home was beautifully decorated for the holidays making us feel at home from the start. The home had all the amenities needed and very clean. Laura was a great host providing information on what to do in the area and responses to any questions we had. Had an a time! A wonderful way to start the New Year!

We decided to take a 3 night girls' trip to Dahlonega for my birthday and had a wonderful time. Loved exploring some wineries, Big Creek Distillery, and visiting the Chestatee Wildlife preserve, plus doing some shopping in downtown Dahlonega and trying out a bunch of restaurants there. The cabin was beautiful and had pretty much everything we needed. Loved the hot tub! Some storms and windy conditions didn't allow us to use the firepit, but it looked like a nice spot to hang out. We enjoyed a few movies from their DVD collection in the evenings. They had a great little coffee bar setup with lots of choices of coffees, teas and hot chocolate, and the option to either use a kcup or make a pot of coffee.

We enjoyed our stay and the first night a bad storm came through. The next morning after checking the place for any damage and picking up some the lawn chairs that got disbursed I notified the owners and they were do appreciative

You can tell Callie took a lot of time and thought in designing her home with the comfort of guests in mind. It is a beautiful space with comfy furniture and all the amenities you need to feel right at home. The covered back porch is very inviting and perfect for sitting, enjoying the peaceful setting, and chatting or reading. Dahlonega and nearby wineries and hiking trails are short drives away when you decide to venture out exploring. Definitely recommend Callie's space and hope to stay again on a future visit to the north GA mountains.

Will was an amazing host, very proactive on communication. The place was gorgeous, we were sad that we couldn't stay longer than one night (due to our schedule) because it just was the cutest little vacation spot. We do plan on coming back and staying longer next time. Thank you so much Will for everything!

Alison’s place was absolutely amazing!!!! It was very comfortable for the 6 of us including are four legged babies. Everything was clean and the amenities were perfect!!!! There were snacks, some spices and everything we needed to cook and clean. The beds were super comfortable. We were minutes from wineries and Helen. Just everything at Don's place was remarkable, from the friendly greeting by the Co-host, Shelia, the ease of check-in after a tiring trip from Florida, the spotless cottage, the beautiful and comfortable furniture and the gift basket of goodies, including wine, cheese, cheesecake, fruit, crackers, and stocked refrigerator full of special treats like steak sauces, barbeque sauce, catsup and mustard packets, jellies, pizza, Texas toast, and breakfast sandwiches. You will also enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood only interrupted occasionally by the call of the rooster down the street. And the incredible pasture behind the cottage, the firepit, the back porch - just an absolutely amazing place and perfect getaway, a home away from home in the mountains. It doesn't get better than this. And our two chihuahuas agree. They loved their walks around the cottage on the grassy grounds and being back inside the warm cottage, watching TV with us.

We had a wonderful stay, and would rate this as one of the most peaceful, places we have stayed. The home was very clean, modern and had everything we needed and more. The hosts were so amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home- which we absolutely did! I have already recommended this stay to several of my friends and look forward to coming back.

My dog usually barks at anything that moves. She found peace and quiet. Not even a whimper all night. That was her first time away from home and that was an absolute plus for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Misty Mountain Trailside Retreat cabin. We've vacationed in the area several times but the cabin we've stayed at in the past isn't pet friendly and we wanted to bring our two little pups with us. I can't speak for all of Misty Mountain's cabins but the Trailside Retreat cabin is pet friendly. The only thing I will caution people about is the loft. If you have mobility issues, small dogs, or senior dogs, use caution when going up the stairs. The stairs are narrow and steep to maximize cabin space and they are open back so a small pet could potentially fall while going up them. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we will be visiting Misty Mountain cabins again.

if you love fishing or just want a peaceful get away this is the place for you. I caught fish literally all around the lake in atleast 10 different spots the lake is Full. crappies bass blue gill and im sure other fish that I didn't catch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blissful Point. It was easy to find and we felt welcome from the moment we walked in. It was exactly like the photos —very clean, cozy & had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. We really appreciated the welcome note & snacks too. It’s located in a great spot that is quiet & peaceful, but still an easy drive to downtown Ellijay (grocery, restaurants & shopping). We had a great time hiking on a nearby trail, visiting some local wineries (Roo Mtn was our favorite), and exploring the beautiful scenery around Ellijay & Blue Ridge. Such a great place to relax & unwind. We highly recommend Blissful Point & would love to stay there again.

We had a great weekend stay! The property is well maintained and clean. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked; and the extras such as makeup remover wipes, and plenty of washcloths, towels, and blankets were nice touches. We would definitely stay here again! The creek is beautiful and so peaceful.

Adorable cabin with every amenity you can imagine! If you are a dog lover or owner, this is the perfect place to stay. We stayed for an entire week here with our 3 dogs and we all had a wonderful time. The dogs got to play with all of the provided toys both inside and out and run freely in the fenced in yard. The whole town seemed to be dog friendly and accept pets. Many restaurants and wineries and other attractions allowed pets to visit. Andrea is a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with. We will definitely come back and stay again!

Beautiful cozy cabin, lots of deer all around!! Had deer grazing 20yds from the hot tub while we relaxed in the evening!!! Only advise is to use waze app to find the cabin. Google maps wasnt working well and tried to take us way out of the way! Susan was very responsive to answer questions! Thank you for a great stay! We would love to come back again!

We had a great time in the riverside cottage. The cottage was clean, the beds were comfortable, the fireplace made cool evening cozy and the kitchen was nice. We loved sitting in the sunroom listening to the water.

Cartecay Cottage was a great place for a long weekend getaway. Being right on the Cartecay River was a perfect spot to enjoy the rushing water.
