Loved all the charm of this place. Starting up the generator for a couple of hours was breeze. Didn’t love the idea of the sawdust toilet, but everything was super clean and sanitary. loved the tub. Beautiful clear night with lots of stars. Nice happy night for us here

Great place to stay. beautiful house.

I can not rate this house more highly. It is so peaceful, with the most incredible views out every window! There was nothing better than waking up and looking out the window to the mountain range, and that evening having an incredible hot spa heated by a log fire. The house is rustic, with ever piece of furniture quirky and well chosen for the space. The bathrooms were spotless and the fire was lit ready for us when we arrived which we really appreciated. The beach is so close by, listening to the waves was my favourite thing. As a family, we absolutely adored our stay here.

We loved our stay at the bach! Comfortable & cosy, we loved the spa and the open fire, the surroundings were spectacular! The house had everything we needed for a fun stay! Conical hill walk just up the road was awesome! So much to eat & do at the village. Would highly recommend this lovely home 😊

A beautiful log cabin with cosy fireplace and fully functioning kitchen. The birdsong in the morning is lovely and a great place to spot black robins, piwakawaka and yellow eye birds.

Our family two adults and two daughters had a great mini break to this house. Even though the weather wasn’t great we found this house easy to hang out in while it rained. Lots of thoughtful touches and games and colouring for the kids along with lovely modern features. We had a great time in a lovely, warm and well equipped house. Highly recommend Thanks Kerrie and Brett!

Our stay with 4 adults and 2 1yr olds was great. Richard sorted out a high chair last minute and portacot was available at the house which worked well. Serene location looking out over the hills from the spacious deck and plenty of bird life. Could have done with a few more amenities such as salt and kindling/firestarters, however, the ducted heat pump did an amazing job of heating the whole house. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
