Washington, is a prime location for everything outdoors: year round HIKING, (1.7 miles to AT) & BIKING trails, 100s of groomed ATV/snowmobile trails, swim, fish, canoe, kayak and tube the pristine rivers, waterfalls & emerald pools and SKI THE SKI RESORTS within 10-30 miles. The small town of Gorham caters to tourists: a dozen great restaurants, antique & gift shops, railroad museum, opera house & town common all within easy walking distance of the studio.

Located 1.5 miles from Jericho Mountain State Park, it's the perfect base camp for your adventure. ATV/UTV right from the house, or trailer your snowmobiles right down the road. After your day of fun, head back to relax and unwind, play some games, prepare a meal, or sit by the fire pit and simply soak in the atmosphere.

In the tiny mountain town of Gorham, NH,. you will find The Banker's Suite on the the second floor of an historic 128 year old bank building. Featuring high ceilings, 3 large rooms, 1 1/2 baths, a king size bed, and beautiful contemporary design . 11 windows will bring you bright sunshine, views of the Western most Mahoosuc Range and the northern White Mountains sunsets, our gardens and a rural Main Street. We think of this spot as a little bit "urban" in the Great North Woods.

Bella's Retreat on the Androscoggin River

Named after my Daughter, at Bella's, you can relax by the tranquil setting of the Androscoggin River or enjoy some outdoor games (Supplied) in the back yard by the river with the mountain back drop including Mt. Washington. If rainy or to sunny, relax under the covered patio. Snow mobile trails just on the other side of the river and Jericho Park accessible via ATV right from the house to the park with ease as it is permitted legally. Skiing Wild cat is 15 minutes up the road.
