Birdie Fell Cottage is located in the quaint village of Chapel Stile, just 15 minutes from Ambleside in the heart of the Langdale Valley, one of the most beautiful and tranquil areas of the Lake District. There is a well stocked shop and excellent pub within walking distance. There are endless footpaths, hills, trails and even bouldering on your doorstep. A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . High Bridge End cottage is an attractive stone built Lakeland property, set in the heart of the Duddon Valley. Situated directly on the banks of the picturesque River Duddon, surrounded by the National Park Southern Fells. The cottage has been renovated with views in mind, the lounge being on the first floor with vaulted ceiling, picture windows and cosy log burner. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

We are a stones throw from the stunning Wasdale Valley with Wastwater being named Britains best view and also home to Englands highest mountain- Scafell Pike. Perfect for couples or a family with 2 children under 13. Maximum 2 adults. As we are a working farm there will be animals and working machinery around the farm.
