I had booked 2 of Anjus accommodation for guests travelling from abroad to attend a wedding. Everyone loved the accommodations - they were spacious, clean and suited the needs of our guests. Our stay at Little Beech in Evenley from April 28 to May 1, 2025, was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm, beautifully presented space that radiated tranquility and comfort. The setting is peaceful and private, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered—from the cozy interior decor to the well-equipped amenities that made us feel right at home. Waking up to the serene surroundings was a joy each day, and we left feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. This is a truly special retreat, and we’re so grateful for the hospitality. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!

I had an amazing stay at this place! The space was incredibly clean and well-maintained, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The house was also very spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The pictures just don’t do it justice. Swimming pool and Sauna was a nice touch for sure and definitely made use of it. John was responsive and helpful, making the entire experience seamless. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

A truely beautiful home , great location . Victoria was always on hand if we needed anything . Very approachable and friendly. An early family Christmas together and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to be .

Patricia's home is lovely, warm and cozy. We booked at the last minute so that our family could spend Christmas together. We appreciated the lovely welcome and provision of staples like milk, butter, tea, coffee, juice and also crusty bread. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner with ease. Patricia had even gone to the trouble to decorate her home for Christmas for us, which was very special. We all enjoyed our time together there. It is a bonus to have a full bathroom and an extra toilet for a family, too. The setting in the park is peaceful and welcoming and there are nice walks around the woods and lakes; our dog loved it, too. This is a wonderful place to stay in every way and Patricia is a very thoughtful and accommodating host. Thank you!

Excellent barn to stay on with fantastic grounds and fabulous pool and hot tub. David is an attentive host and deals with any issues instantly Highly recommended

really enjoyed our stay in this tiny place. good to be aware there is no lounge area (inside though there is outside) - it is really small, and not much window! but it is very sweet and in the loveliest quiet spot beside a canal - so the walks etc were gorgeous and it was a good base. we had some issues early on but Heather was really responsive and helpful and someone came over and sorted us out quickly and with minimum fuss. For that reason I am giving 5 stars. They do seem to care about your comfort. Lovely quirky place for 2.

I didn’t stay personally, but my partner and daughter went there for a weekend, the place is wonderful, especially if you have dogs. Beds are comfortable and all round reports were positive. The only things worth a mention I suppose our lack of Wi-Fi/phone reception and also if you are driving a van the people on the gate can be quite unhelpful. Probably best mentioning it in advance so the owner can have a word but my family loved it and would happily go back 😊

Spotless and beautiful haven with everything we needed for a girl’s hiking weekend. Loved the yard and all the nature in the surrounding area. Pool and hot tub were a great bonus. Bridget was an outstanding host: friendly, responsive and really attentive to our needs. Would definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful, rejuvenating time.

We had an amazing time at the Cottage! The bed was super comfy, and the whole place is incredibly peaceful – perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some quiet time. The surroundings are beautiful, and Angela was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

Really lovely cabin, well looked after and very clean. Host was very helpful and pleasant. As others have written, the cabin is located near the house and not quite in the middle of the woods as expected, but hosts fully respected privacy and we only saw them on arrival. Toilet is a little cramped but otherwise everything was perfect. A really lovely stay

We enjoyed a peaceful stay at the Annexe which was perfect for our needs. The accommodation is well equipped with kind and thoughtful touches, and we appreciated being able to walk straight from the property along some of Hertfordshire's plentiful and well-marked trails and footpaths. We won't hesitate to book the Annexe again when we are next in the area to visit family. Highly recommended !

Another great stay at Caroline's place. Very relaxing in beautiful countryside close to Foxton Locks. Great to have all the provisions especially the bacon and eggs.

Keith & Bev were friendly & wonderful host. The bed was comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Love the little touches - sauces, cereal, bread and butter. The Nature Reserve was a short walk away - great for my dogs. Thank you again for hosting me & my furry boys.

Another lovely stay in lovely surrounding. Emily and Mike are lovely hosts They were very kind about the use of their beautiful garden with my dog who loved chasing Milo around the garden. Thank you both again

Safe, high fenced garden area for our dog. Everything we needed - coffee , tea bags, washing up liquid, hand cream, shower wash. Tastefully decorated, comfortable and a good size.

Loved our stay at the cottage! It was the ideal setting for us to celebrate Christmas with our family. Especially the dining area was very spacious. The living room was lovely and cosy. Lots of walks nearby, great village pub and other villages to explore.
