Smoky Mountain Retreat Cabin is a peaceful rural escape tucked away in the quiet corners of Metchosin. This cozy retreat strikes the perfect balance between comfort and connection to nature. Soak in the hydrotherapeutic hot tub with views of the Pacific Ocean and Olympic Mountains, gather around the outdoor fire with your cup of tea, or book a private sauna & cold plunge in our 'Forest Wellness' space. Pet-friendly and inviting, the cabin is ideal for solo travelers, couples, and small families.

Forest Hideout

Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

Comfortable one bedroom cottage with sun-room fully insulated and extremely wonderful . There is also a back patio with a great view overlooking the lower pasture and wetland. BBQ and comfortable outdoor furniture. On a hot day the patio offers good shade. It comfortably fits two and is centrally located. An easy 15 minute drive to most attractions. In addition, there is a tiny house available that would allow for an increase in available group accommodation size. The waterfront cabin includes access to a hot tub where you can soak in the waterfront ocean view.. AND the tub.
