The primary bedroom includes a private en-suite bath, while a second full bathroom serves the rest of the home. A washer and dryer are available for added convenience, especially after long days exploring. Outside, guests love the easy walk to nearby parks and river access, plus quick drives to Hartman Rocks, hiking and biking trails, fishing spots, ATV routes, and public lands. Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte Ski Area are an easy drive for world-class skiing in winter and mountain biking in summer. With free parking, a peaceful setting, and a location close to everything Gunnison has to offer, Gunni Getaway is a comfortable, convenient choice for your Colorado stay. Newly renovated loft in a building that is on the National Register of Historic Places. Centrally located in the Gunnison Valley, the loft is in downtown Gunnison and is walking distance from shops, restaurants, grocery stores and WCU. In the summer, you can enjoy hiking, biking, ATV trails, fly fishing, rafting, horseback riding and golfing. Crested Butte is 30 minutes away and the wildflower capital of Colorado. In the winter, Crested Butte Ski resort and Monarch Mountain are 45 minutes away.

Our house, located in Downtown Gunnison, is the perfect base camp for your family vacation. The house is kid friendly. We are conveniently located one block from the free bus to Crested Butte. No need to have a car. You can easily walk to all the downtown restaurants, coffee shops and to the grocery store. We are also a few blocks away from Western Colorado University. The house was fully remodeled in 2017 and is very clean. No pets have been in the house since the remodel. Keyless entry!

You will not regret your stay. The Wilderness Cabin is located 11 miles up a Forest Service Dirt/Gravel road.
