This place is a paradise! This family is adorable and always very available. We had an excellent stay in this place, the pool is magnificent, the private beach downstairs is superb too. Wir waren mit unseren drei Kindern (5, 6 und 9 Jahre alt) über eine Woche hier und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Highlight war der traumhaft schöne, fast menschenleere Strand direkt vor der Tür. Besonders wohlgefühlt haben wir uns dank Suresh und Ruhini, den herzlichen Gastgebern: Suresh organisierte alles rund um Ausflüge und Transport, Ruhini verwöhnte uns jeden Morgen mit einem leckeren Frühstück. Unsere Kinder hatten viel Spaß beim Bodyboarden, während wir das authentische Dorfleben und die Fischer am Strand beobachten konnten. Das Häuschen war sauber und charmant, wenn auch teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen – dafür waren wir mitten in der Natur: Affen im Garten, Fledermäuse am Abend, Glühwürmchen im Dunkeln. Für uns war es eine perfekte Mischung aus Abenteuer, Erholung und Echtheit. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt, und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

This is an extremely cozy house! It is located a little bit deep from the main roads, so it is silence and calm here. I enjoyed here with birds, palms, nature sounds. I was surprised with small quantity of mosquitos here, but for your safety hosts provide you with mosquito net. Oh, God, how it's wonderful to sleep with open doors and windows here - it's smell, sounds..perfect! And to be honest I even didn't use a fan during night's, because the temperature was absolutely comfortable. The villa has rather good WiFi and if you are a remote worker it will suite to you (the day temperature is also good when you open windows and use fan, there is no necessity in AC). Hosts are absolutely cute and caring about you! But villa is located rather far from any shops and beaches (apr. 10 min by bike) - so bike or tuktuk are absolutely necessary here, and there is not a problem to reach this location. Having traveled the entire coast from Galle, I do not want to change this place of living.

We’ve been at the redhill yala for two nights and had a wonderful time. Thusitha was very helpful and easy to communicate with. He even helped us contacting a Safari Guide that I booked. If you’re interested in doing a safari, he can arrange it! The staff at the property are very friendly and always willing to help whenever needed. The rooms are simple but very clean, the food was very delicious and enough for a whole army :D

Die AirBnb von Ranga&Alicia ist eine wahre Oase im Grünen. Von der Terasse aus konnten wir abends Glühwürmchen am schönen Sternenhimmel beobachten. Morgens begrüßte uns immer der Pfau "Frederico" 😊 Ranga ist so ein sympathischer und liebenswerter Host. Er hat uns sogar am letzten Tag mit seinem TukTuk zum Tangelle Busbahnhof gefahren. Der Strand ist nur 5 Min zu Fuß entfernt. Von hier aus haben wir die traumhafte Gegend erkundet: Wanderungen am km-langen Strand/ bunte, vielseitige Tiere/ Busfahrten mit dem öffentlichen Bus bspw. nach Hirikitiya oder nach Rekawa Beach...die Natur rund um Tangelle ist atemberaubend schön! Beste AirBnb, die wir auf unsrer 4-wöchigen Reise in Sri Lanka hatten: gemütliche Matratze/ großes Zimmer/ tolle Terasse/ Trinkwasser/ guter Wasserdruck und ein paradiesisches Wellness Badezimmer... Wir haben uns sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Wir wünschen Ranga&Alicia nur das Beste! Vielen Dank für alles!
