Although not on the water, there is access to our private Taunton Bay shore, 3.5 miles away.

The house is in a quiet private neighborhood on 1 acre of cove front property. There is an abundance of wildlife. Stairs lead down to the cove where you can walk the shore at low tide, birdwatch or hear fog horns. At high tide you can take our kayaks out. It's walking distance to Lamoine Beach Park and 35 min to Acadia. The classic but comfortable living space is all on the second level. Wifi & TV with cable, and air conditioning are all available. The basement/garage level has a washer/dryer.

We call this cabin the "Wild Blueberry Cabin,” located in Eastbrook, Maine. You have private access to Abrams Pond, a great place to fish, swim, kayak and relax. Cook on the propane grill and make s’mores on the fire pit. You are a 45 minute car ride to Acadia National Park. Nearby shopping, antiquing, hiking and exploring all that Maine has to offer. Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.
