A 10 minute walk into Pembroke town centre where you will find a medieval castle, built in 1093 and birthplace to Henry VII, which is accompanied by a stunning mill pond, cafes, restaurants and bars. The annex is a newly renovated fully equipped home from home and has 2 sofa beds for extra guests.

We are close to the Coast Path and NCN cycle route 4, local pick up/drop off available on request. The Barn is a converted donkey stable, with traditional lime plaster walls and upcycled timber giving it a rustic feel. We are 15 minutes by car to the beaches at Freshwater West, top surfing spot and home to Dobby’s Grave, Broadhaven South and the stunning Barafundle to name but a few. In addition the charming seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot are only a 20 minute drive making Driftaway Cottage the perfect base to explore all Pembrokeshire has to offer.

A traditional Pembrokeshire cottage in a unique, idyllic woodland and waterside setting. The cottage is reached via a private farm road 1/2 a mile from the centre of Cosheston village. It has its own slipway, providing direct access to the estuary for beach walks and launching small boats, canoes and paddleboards . The cottage has been recently restored and furnished to a very high standard. It has a new kitchen and new bathrooms, full central heating and a wood-burning stove.

The 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coastal Path route goes directly past the front door. Perfectly situated for a calm, peaceful coastal escape.

The historic town of Pembroke is five minutes away, the castle is definitely worth a visit. The ferry port is a 2 min drive away.
