The only issue I had was finding the apartment - in the dark. The listing should say “Find #58, then use the key on the door to the right of that sign and go up to the top floor”. Apart from that - one of the nicest and most comfortable Airbnb’s I have stayed in - easy walk to the centre and all the attractions, lovely, very comfortable and clean apartment. I would recommend this to anyone visiting York.

Our 3 night stay here was great. Perfect location, supermarket close by and could walk to any attraction easily. Very comfortable and the wine, biscuits and other provisions were much appreciated.

We had a great time staying at Ben’s flat. It has everything you need and is simple, clutter-free and clean. Instructions for entering and parking were clear, the property feels very secure as there are 3 levels of code-entry doors from street to flat and the location is great for exploring York. 15-20 minute walk to the Shambles and centre of town and great local restaurants (really recommend Valentino’s 5 mins walk away and Ate O’Clock 15 mins walk away). A great flat in a great location, with a helpful host. Thank you!

We were particularly impressed at your thoughtfulness in leaving a welcome basket. Apart from the initial slight difficulty in access at the gate, once we had the fob, all was well. The showers were really good with a strong flow of water. Also, we were lovely and warm. The private parking was very useful. The flat is situated near the station, restaurants and takeaways and with easy access to the city centre. We would love to stay again should we return to York.

Lovely apartment right in the centre of Hull, short walking distance to the quay and the main shopping centre. The apartment was very clean, and matched the description completely, and Kelly’s instructions for checking in was spot on. Kelly’s communication was excellent throughout. We will definitely be back!

We had 3 nights in York and Josh’s house was exactly as described, very clean and comfortable. Josh was very responsive to any queries at all times. Great location and easy walk into York centre. Would definitely stay there again

The house is situated an easy walk from the station and a short walk into the centre of York, in a very quiet street. Parking is immediately outside. Dawn gave plenty of information before we got there and checked all was ok during our stay. The house was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. The beds are very comfortable and the linen and towels are good quality. There were lots of nice touches such as a bottle of Prosecco, biscuits, milk and toiletries. Altogether an ideal home from home for a stay in York.

15 minute drive to the auditorium where we were working for the week. Comfy bed, good shower, plenty of parking. 4 double beds, 4 sets of keys so we could come and go as we please. No complaints from us. Great everything. Thanks very much.

We really enjoyed our stay at Simon’s place. Good space, nice and clean and a short distance from York. Simon was very responsive on message which made our stay straightforward and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

Great house fully equipped, ideal room space and comfortable. Great location to bars and restaurants with access to the beach / seafront on a short walk.

Had a great stay just a couple of minutes from the beach the place was very quiet and very welcoming the host are great with there communication and on hand if we needed them will recommend to friends and family and will visit again in the future thank you Lisa and Andy

I had a fantastic stay at this new-build property. Accessing the keys was straightforward, making check-in hassle-free. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent, with a modern shower that worked perfectly. The place was spotlessly clean, and each of the three single beds was equipped with two towels, which was a thoughtful touch. The heating was great, ensuring the house stayed cosy throughout my stay. Parking right outside the property was incredibly convenient. Prince, the host, was easily contactable and very helpful. Overall, a very pleasant and seamless experience. Highly recommended!

There were a few lovely surprises here. The huge shared garden space was a delight. Very peaceful and my dog was delighted to lie in the grass all day. The cafe next door was very pleasant and parking was easy.

The house was clean, warm, with all amenities as listed. Louise was great communicating all info regarding the booking.

Fantastic place to stay, very central, extremely clean and well equipped. Host was very communicative even giving us a location of a super market we could stop at on our way so we weren’t hunting for one. Felt very welcome and would definitely recommend this host if you are heading to York.

The accommodation was just as described clean an well decorated. Close to the harbour an shops , if I needed anything I only had to ask . I would highly recommend this property. So glad I found this on air bnb

A beautiful home like feeling in this apartment, good location and lots of things around to do. Parking was so handy too! Hosts were so friendly and checked in to make sure we were okay! Highly recommend!

Ideal location within 15 minutes walking of everything you want to do within the city centre. Perfect base for exploring. Secure, private parking an added bonus. Apartment had everything needed for any length of stay and was a clean comfortable space for relaxing at the end of busy days exploring. Hosts were super helpful, proactively recommending places to eat/drink and things to do and all communications were quick and easy.

Pretty neighbourhood, close to parks and shops and central York, and very walkable. The flat was clean and tidy and very comfortable. There were instructions in the flat for WiFi and heating, which Vic had already sent us, it was private and quiet.

Couldn’t recommend Elaine’s place enough! Excellent central location in York with views of the river. Down a quiet side street away from traffic noise. Loads of information about things to do, etc, in the apartment. Really comfortable beds, very clean. Elaine left some pain au chocolats for breakfast which was lovely!
