We had a 3 night stay as 2 families with small children. House was great, big space, great outdoor areas. The venue is clearly geared towards large parties, stag or hen perhaps which it is perfect for. For us as a young family it was a great base to use whilst exploring nearby York. Plenty to keep children entertained at the house. A great stay for our getaway

Amazing venue, spacious living space which was appreciated by all. The children loved the toys they found and the adults enjoyed the grounds, Poole and table football. Kitchen facilities were excellent and we all fit around the dinner table with ease and comfort. If you need a special place for a group get together this is the place to go. So much better than a formulaic bland hotel. Thanks to the team.

Great communication and easy check in and out process! We didn’t spend much time at the cottage but it was great for what we needed with all the basic amenities!

We had a fab weekend! The house is clean and tidy, the beds are super comfy and the location is very peaceful and quiet. There’s a lovely little park, a cafe, a shop and a couple of pubs all within easy walking distance. We would absolutely recommend this property and would love to visit again in the future :-)

Beautiful place, very peaceful & relaxing.. we loved the cottage & very much appreciated the extras (homemade bread, eggs, milk etc) that were left.. we would definitely recommend this place & would love to stay again

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. It's ideally located to walk around York enjoying the many attractions, cafes, restaurants and shops. While it is a small terraced house with a steep staircase, as Victoria described it, it was a peaceful yet central base for our trip and had all the things we required including a cot for our baby. Victoria left us some milk and brownies, which we really appreciated. Communication with her was easy.

One of the best places we have ever stayed in for one of our regular meets. The heated swimming pool was the main reason we chose it. It was also very spacious, clean and in a great location. Will be back soon!

Jackie and John were amazing host's and we thank them for sharing their beautiful cottage with us for the Easter weekend..comfortable dwelling, located in a gorgeous village. What a fab stay we have had. The apartment was ideally located and easy to access. Free parking a real bonus too! Spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped home. We will definitely be looking to stay again! Thank you.

Our stay was perfect. The location is amazing, right in the heart of York and a short walk to York Minster, which we did every day to “check on her”! Eating places and pubs all close by and in the same street too. Just a wonderful experience in this beautiful medieval city. Highly recommend. And on a clear day you can see York Minster through the roof windows which was delightful.

We had an excellent stay at Wendy’s. The property was very quiet, clean and spacious and within close proximity to the town centre. Wendy is very friendly and accommodating and we would have been happy to stay for longer.

A fantastic location with all that York has to offer only a few minutes walk away. Flat was spacious and well equipped. Decor a bit dated and in need of a little refresh but nothing too awful and for the price, represented good value for money. Would recommend

We really enjoyed our stay in York. Andrew’s place was perfect and extremely walkable to the city. We appreciated the parking spot. I would recommend anyone to stay here while visiting York!

This was the third time we stayed in Martin and Carmens lovely apartment while our son is studying at the university. It’s such a comfortable and well appointed place within easy reach of Leeds city centre but very quiet and peaceful.

I've stayed at this property several times, and it always lives up to my expectations. The property is always immaculately clean, and everything you could possibly need is provided. The location is ideal - just up the hill from the railway station, round the corner from the castle with its spectacular views, and only a very short walk from the River Nidd. The weather was very warm on my latest visit, but the property stayed lovely and cool - and I know from my visits in colder months that the heating works nicely when needed. The kitchen is really well appointed, with all appliances in perfect working order, and even an air fryer on my latest visit. There are plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants only a short walk away, and the outdoor Knaresborough market takes place every Wednesday, complete with a Town Crier. I've already booked my next visit to stay here, which should give you some idea how much I like it!
