The Carriage House

The house is just minutes from the French Broad River, the Appalachian trail, and downtown Hot Springs. Guests can take in the beautiful serene landscape as well as outdoor and indoor activities and delicious restaurants.

Water views galore with trout-stocked Spring Creek and an almost 90 degree curve, called Fowler's Bend. Be prepared for INCREDIBLE VIEWS of the RUSHING WATERS of a 20-30 foot wide creek, with distant views of the only WATERFALL in town. Out the front door, ~7,500 acres of Pisgah NATIONAL FOREST sits just across the road.

Take it easy at our beautiful cabin in Hot Springs, NC surrounded by nature and farm animals. Panther Branch Farm spans 30 acres of mountains, streams, waterfalls, and hiking trails. On our small farm we have chickens, bees, goats, and alpacas that love to be hand-fed. Originally a pole barn workshop, the cabin has been expanded into a peaceful retreat built with local lumber. Or if you are exploring the area then it is the perfect home base for adventures in the mountains or to Asheville for breweries, dining or shopping.

A three bedroom cabin great for a couple or family. The Appalachian Trail and National Forest can be accessed just 100 feet from the front door! The well-stocked kitchenette provides for all basic food preparation needs, and the town of Hot Springs is only a two minute drive away. Hurricane Helene update: We are fortunate that our property is higher up and did not flood. Thanks to the hard work of many people, all utilities have been restored at the cabin. Our town is in recovery.
