The Rustic Acres property is just minutes outside of Decorah tucked away in a heavily wooded area with a small spring waterfall off the upstairs master, a stream winding through the property and impressive rock formations. There is a TV...I'm not sure if it works because I spent all of my time soaking in the beauty and relaxing in from of the wood burning fireplace in the living room. The feel inside is quaint and cozy, but with plenty of floor space and all the amenities for comfortability. I plan on booking again around the same time in Fall next year!

Great location and Very quiet. Close to shops if you need anything you may have forgotten to bring. Host responds great! We hope to stay here again if ever in the area!

Everything from check in to check out was easy. House is spacious, comfortable, and just as described. Owners were helpful, and responsive to all questions. Would stay there again without question

We loved our stay at Tusen Takk and we'd be excited to come back! This is our favorite home in Decorah because of the well stocked kitchen, the comfortable dining and living space, and the extras like puzzles and records.

Great place and great hospitality. Dan went above and beyond to make our stay great. We had 16 people between adults and children for a hunting trip to the area and the place worked perfect. Hope to visit again in the future.

This was the perfect country setting to disconnect and recharge. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Outside, we were surrounded by trees, the sound of birds, and a running stream nearby. We loved spending the day just sitting on the wrap around porch and taking nature in. Thank you for making our stay the recharge we needed!

This was our 4th time staying here with our dog, and it was wonderful as always! The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and clean. The grounds are spacious and pretty and we enjoyed walking our dog around the property to explore. During one of our morning walks with our dog, we had the chance to visit with the gentleman who helps take care of the grounds-he was super nice and gave us some recommendations of things to do in the area. It turns out he grew up in a town only about 15 miles from where we live! We hiked at Forestville State Park with our dog during this visit-this was our first time going there, and it was so pretty. Leslie contacted us ahead of time to give us some tips on the thermostat-we appreciate her proactiveness and great communication. She's a great host and we love this property. Looking forward to visiting again soon!
