You’ll love Scott Hill Cabin because of the view, ambience, and location. There are brochures in the cabin to see what options our area has for you. The actual address of the cabin is 1166 Orchard Road. We allow pets, but just ask for prior knowledge. We are just minutes from 2 separate trailheads to the Appalachian Trail. Despite the listing saying 2 beds, it is in fact, 1 double bed. Sorry for the listing mistake. We want to extend a military discount to our past and present service members.

Relax with the whole family on this peaceful working farm. Enjoy the farm animals and running stream in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. Tour the Blue Ridge Parkway or Creeper Trail. Historic Wythe County, Wohlfahrt Theatre, Abingdon, Barter Theatre, Big Walker Lookout Shot Tower, Draper Mercantile and so much more. Get unplugged, no distracting internet. Fish in the pond or make smores at the firepit. Experience the farm with optional homegrown meals/tours. A little piece of heaven.

Ruby's Rest

NO CLEANING FEES. NO TO DO LISTS BEFORE CHECKING OUT. NO PET FEES. Cozy, private one room cottage (with bathroom), run by a loving, easy-going, non-judging family. Cottage measures 12' x 24' (total of 288sq. feet). Very relaxed environment. Flat rate of $50.00. UPDATE: Deck is now enclosed with old window panes. Super cozy. Has a sink with hot/old water, a hot plate, large toaster oven, and utensils. I am am still putting finishing touches on it, but available for use. Pictures soon.

The North Star Dome

Camp on our pick-your-own flower farm & petting zoo! This is camping, elevated with style & comfort. We provide the climate controlled dome, comfy bed (bring your own sheets), griddle, and basic supplies. Bring your own queen size bedding/sleeping bags, water, cooler, & firewood. Rustic outdoor shower is OPEN till October 1st! The Dome is nestled on our farm's off-grid hilltop, with tremendous mountain views. There are trails, farm animals to visit, & seasonal flowers/veggies to pick!

Featuring one queen size bed, a full sized futon, a full size couch & a fold out twin size bed in the living room, a washer & dryer, all kitchen appliances, and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you’ll need to stay in and cook. Up on the Laurel’s Dongola Cabin is a secluded, compact 384 square foot cabin designed to be a place for recreating, writing, relaxing and star-gazing. It sits on the south side of Iron Mountain in the Jefferson National Forest’s Mount Rogers National Recreation Area and takes in the scenic views of Whitetop Mountain and Mount Rogers. Its proximity to sites and towns of middle Appalachia, along with its fresh water, fresh air and relaxed pace make our cabin a lovely spot to visit.
