Die Unterkunft war super. Die Gastgeber haben uns super Hinweise für die Zeit auf Island gegeben und waren immer erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder 😄

This accommodation was just where we wanted to be to explore the Peninsula. The unit was warm and cozy and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all the bits and pieces you need. There is a supermarket very close for supplies. There was a glitch with sending the code to get the key but luckily the host was outside when we arrived and was able to tell us the information personally.

Peferct place to stop for a night for couples that are travelling on the ring road. Beautiful landscape, peaceful surroundings and spacious room with full kitchen. Plus a playful border collie that is so sweet!

Nous avons aimé ce logis. Il est particulièrement grand, avec 3 chambres, une cuisine, un salon et une salle à manger. La chambre de bain a été rénovée. Le look est vraiment différent du reste qui est un peu vieillot, mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé. Lit confortable. Dans la cuisine, il y a tout ce que l’on a besoin pour faire à manger. Bien situé à Selfoss.

Staying in Dora and Nicolas' cozy flat was everything we could have wished. They were friendly, welcoming, helpful and generous. The flat was clean, well-supplied and super comfortable. It was a perfect location for walking to the University for our conference (7 minutes) and into the City Centre (+/- 20 mins) for events, museums and dining. (Just up the street are KaffiVest, a wonderful little cafe/restaurant, a small supermarket, and the local outdoor, heated swimming pool - an Iceland tradition!) We wholeheartedly recommend, and would gladly stay there again!

Wir waren eine Woche bei Haukur in der Hütte und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Er war immer gut erreichbar und hat uns bei allem geholfen. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön und super um abzuschalten. Es ist sehr ruhig und friedlich. Es sah zu jeder Wetterlage traumhaft aus. Die Hütte ist gut ausgestattet. Man ist von Selfoss ca. 20 min mit dem Auto entfernt und dort gibt es alles was man braucht. Es hat uns sehr gefreut dich kennenzulernen, hoffentlich bis zum nächsten Mal!

Easily the best host I have ever had on Airbnb. Everything was perfect, the place was easy to find and we were given clear instructions on everything that we needed. The host is super friendly, responsive, and helped with every inquiry or question that I had. The bnb was really cute, well organized and clean, and located in a lovely quiet neighborhood within short walking distance to the city center. We had everything that we could ever have needed, and more than we could have hoped for. I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Iceland, I will definitely be coming back on my next trip back here for sure. Thank you for the wonderful experience, and keep up the lovely work!

Cottage davvero accogliente, caldo. Arredato con cura. Nuova costruzione. Cucina attrezzata, bagno spazioso. Parcheggio davanti casa. Super confortevole. Consigliatissimo.

Wir waren zu viert unterwegs und waren zwei Nächte dort. Wir haben es sehr genossen. Der Besitzer zeigte uns zu Anfang den Whirlpool und auch als wir später eine Rückfrage hatten hat er uns weitergeholfen. Die Unterkunft mit dem Ausblick ist wahnsinnig schön und würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen!

We rented Alina's place for four nights. She was a very good host who provided all the necessary information. The place looks very nice and is in a gated area. The house is also very well located to explore the main sights in South of Iceland. I would definetaly recommend staying at Alina's place.

Die Kommunikation vorab und während des Aufenthalts war sehr gut. Dank der ausführlichen Beschreibung haben wir die Unterkunft direkt gefunden und der Check-In verlief reibungslos. Die Lage ist top. Man ist schnell in Reykjavik und am Golden Circle, sodass man hier alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut besichtigen kann. Besonders die Islandpferde sind ein Highlight. Die Beschreibung entspricht der Unterkunft generell gut, auch wenn die Einrichtung teilweise schon etwas älter ist, was dem Ganzen aber keinen Abbruch tut.

Such a cosy, clean, welcoming, warm and lovely place to rest after a chilly day of sightseeing; the personal touches (a few plants, Icelandic tablecloth and painted stones) were so nice. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing dinner and breakfast using our store bought groceries. The beds were very comfortable. Nice lighting. And what lovely craftsmanship - this “tiny home” was simply perfect.

Jóhanna is such a wonderful host! This tiny house truly feels like a home. All the amenities you could need are provided, and Jóhanna is very proactive and communicative. A perfect place to see the stars and aurora borealis, and only a ten minute drive to the city.

Íris was the best host I've ever had. She was extremely friendly and proactive. She prepared and shared a detailed document with clear instructions about the apartment and ways of spending time in Reykjavik with personal recommendations. She could actually start selling it as a guide, but it was given out for free :) The apartment self was so worth the money! It was absolutely spotless clean, had everything needed, is situated very close to the centre of the city and in the same time it was very quiet neighborhood. If I come to the same city twice, I always choose another apartment so that the experience is not same / doesn't become boring. But in this case, the first thing I will do is send a message to Íris if I plan to return to Iceland and Reykjavik 🙂

Perfect in every respect. Location, cleanliness, equipment, ideal size for 2 adults and 2 young kids. Great to see the northern lights (when visible!)

An unforgettable experience in Iceland - highly recommended! Elsa, the host, was exceptionally responsive and welcoming. The atmosphere of the accommodation was truly magical! I’m already dreaming of coming back and staying longer than just one night.

Really nice lodge style house with a killer view ! Well appointed kitchen and dining area. On a farm so you get to watch sheep with morning coffee ! Farm dog named "Peanut" will greet you and make you feel right at home !!! Good location to explore westfjords.

muy buen lugar para quedarse. es una gran casa y es administrada como una residencia. la atención es muy impersonal (no conocí a nadie que administrara la casa) pero aun así resultó todo perfecto

Place was as described and shown in the images with a great handbook. Extremely peaceful and a beautiful view. Hosts kept to themselves mostly but were kind enough to help with our laundry on asking. Connectivity is great too, just 10 mins away from Selfoss. Recommended!

We had a great stay at Oskar’s place. The apartment is very cosy, very well equipped and an excellent place to visit the west coast. Oskar is an excellent host , very welcoming and responsive. We highly recommend this Airbnb to the guest community! Thank you for hosting us ♥️

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in dem kleinen Häuschen. Es war sehr heimelig und warm auch wenn draußen der Sturm tobte. Die Lage war super. Schnell beim Golden Circle und an der Südküste und Polarlichter konnte man auch super schauen.

As described and looked like the pictures. The home had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. We enjoyed having the kitchen and hot tub to use after a long day exploring.
