The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

Chalet Gedouque

Chalet Gedouque is a tranquil retreat nestled amongst lush trees and located on the Cabot Trail, offering a perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. With nice views of the harbour and Cheticamp island, guest can enjoy a peaceful and private getaway with loved ones. The chalet is only a short drive from downtown, where all amenities are easily accessible. The beautiful plage Saint-Pierre beach is minutes away, and guest can also take a scenic 2 km walk to reach it.

We are just 20 minutes from Inverness and 30 minutes from Chéticamp, making it a convenient place to stay while exploring Cape Breton. The cottage has a large screened sun room and 3 outdoor deck spaces to relax and enjoy spectacular sunsets. High speed internet, fully equipped kitchen, and BBQ. Have fun outside with 2 stand-up-paddle boards, kayak, 2 adult bikes, life jackets, and an out door fire place!

Welcome to this 2-bedrooom ocean-side, vacation home packed full of modern-day comforts and located within 5 minutes drive of the restaurants, shops and fisherman's dock of the Acadian village of Cheticamp. Enjoy stunning views of the Atlantic ocean, Cape Breton's rugged coastline and spectacular sunsets from every room. Kindly note that children must be 8 years or older to stay, pets are not permitted and maximum occupancy is 4 persons.
