This was the perfect launching pad for a nordic adventure - only 9 minute drive to either Wolverine or ABR trails, and walking distance to wine bar, co-op, bakery, coffee shop, restaurants. It was great!

Luke has been very communicative throughout the whole process. He has maintained contact before, during and after our stay. The apartment is located within walking distance to several local eateries. You're also not far from the Wisconsin border where you will find even more restaurants. Upon arrival, we weren't entirely sure where the apartment was because there was no clear address on the building and we never saw a photo of the outside. It's a very spacious apartment, they have done some great updates to the place. New shower with great water pressure. They upgraded the TV before our visit. The kitchen was stocked with basic needs (dishes, pans, cups, etc.) and our bed was comfortable. Like much of the U.P. it's an older building (built in 1887), but I have no doubt that the owners are going to restore its charm.

Our group had a blast here for a weekend of skiing! It was great to be right on the run. The wood stove was so cozy after long days of skiing. The hosts are very responsive, which was so appreciated. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

The home was decorated nicely, plenty of kitchen pots, pans, and utensils to make a couple of nice meals. Very clean. Beds were comfortable! Plenty of towels and wash clothes. The bottled water in the fridge was very nice. Appreciated the flexibility of a little later check out. Would definitely stay again.

This is a simple yet great place to stay! Parking is right next to the entrance and the parking area is well maintained/plowed when it snows.

I was extremely pleased with this place and I felt comfortable there. Slept like a baby. There were a couple things that could be improved: provide some kind of body soap for the shower/master bathroom . Not everyone shows up with a wizened old bar of soap in a plastic bag, like I did! All that was there were half-used bottles of shampoo and conditioner from previous guests. How about a soap dispener? Or hotel-size bar soap? Another thing: the overhead fan/light fixtures in the master bath was missing its cap: bare bulbs and months' worth of dust, hair were visible. This surprised me, because John obviously has an eye for detail. It would be helpful to stack/store dish towels in the kitchen, instead of hidden under bathroom towels in the master bathroom. I was at a loss as to where they were, until I drew down the stack of bathroom towels. I didn't cook anything, but did have cereal bowls, plates, and utensils that I wanted to keep up with over my four-day stay.

We used Williams place to ski at Big Powderhorn and snowshoe on some of the Wolverine trails. The location was good for us. It was a very short ride to both places. We had 6 adults and 2 children and the place was very roomy for us. The 5 bedrooms and 5 beds were perfect for our sleeping arrangement. We will definitely be back next year for a long weekend trip.

Our 2nd time staying-just keeps getting better and better! So nice to have an incredible place to come home to. Jerri has such an eye for interior design and left no stone unturned as far as providing everything you could possibly need or want. Of course as soon as we came through the door we headed right towards the home made treats! An interior designer who is also an elite baker?! Unheard of. The Bakery Bungalow and Bakery Bunkhouse will exceed all of your expectations and the location is PERFECT. Convenient to stores and restaurants and equally convenient location for sight seeing and hiking. We thank Jerri and Gary for taking our adventures to another level. We will be back again and again. Shhhh don't tell anyone about this place, its just too wonderful. P.S. Don't miss dinner at the Iron Nugget.

Had a great time at Rich's place for my buddy's 40th birthday. Easy to access, super clean, and very comfy. Bedrooms were well appointed and all the instructions Rich left us were great. He even dug out the driveway the morning we left after a big snow dump, which was greatly appreciated! 5/5 no drama, would stay here again.

Staying here was a great experience. It had all the essentials and was close enough to bars and restaurants. 100% definitely would book again. Thanks, Wes!

Kim's place was very clean with a lot of nice, thoughtful little touches. Fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds and great location!

This comfy cottage will now be our “go to” for any adventure travel to the Ironwood area. We have never stayed in an Airbnb as well appointed or cleaner! Sue has thought of everything one could possibly need. She is a warm and friendly hostess who is extremely responsive to any question or request. The homemade bread and farm fresh eggs were an “over-the-top” addition. She also brought us “warm from the oven” chocolate chip cookies. We could not have enjoyed our stay more!

Super beautiful hidden gem. The porch is spectacular & the details are super fun. Chocolate on the beds were our favorite touch. We were very comfortable with 5 of us. Thanks again Mark & Susan!

Our family of 5 loved staying in this place. It felt right at home immediately. Very warm and cozy and so inviting. We were all so comfortable! We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect ski condo for a family ski weekend! Very close to the main lift and chalet. The condo was clean and well stocked. Bill was great to interact with.

My family along with the group of friends we brought along had a great time! For some of our grouop it was there first time to this lodging and skiing location and it proved to them that the ski-in/ski-out from the lodging was highly recommended and well worth it! Helena was very responsive on any questions we had and also was quick to jump on bringing over a few other items needed for the kitchen and bathrooms! We will look forward to scheduling another group at this location! It does have sleeping arrangements for 12 people, but we only had 10 this round and it was perfect allowing them all to be on a comfortable bed. Thanks again Helena for a great stay!

Theresa was an excellent host, very responsive, very accommodating. The cabin was comfortable, clean, cozy, peaceful. We had a wonderful visit and loved the space.

Very cute and clean place. Had everything we needed to feel at home including a laundry room where we could wash our kids muddy clothes after playing outside all day. Would recommend!

We had a blast! Ski weekend for a family of three. Could not be closer to Big Powerhorn so the location was perfect. We really appreciated the wood burning fireplace (wood provided!), dog-friendly vibe and the game room downstairs. The sauna was also perfect after a day on the slopes. We'll be back!
