Shashank came on video call to ensure that we reach the destination promptly, caretakers were willing workers, always ready to respond, house is as in photos, superb interior, meets all our needs in given space, cosy, very clean. Outside views from verandah are superb. Watched sunset. Perhaps the best Airbnb listing I have stayed so far.

This was our second visit to this beautiful pet-friendly home and it was just as incredible as the first! Nestled in the serene hills, the place offers breathtaking views, a peaceful atmosphere, and every amenity you could ask for. From a well-equipped kitchen to cozy, spotless rooms and a lovely outdoor space for our furry child to roam freely it was perfect in every way. Pooja was incredibly welcoming, approachable, and always ready to help, making our stay even more comfortable. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with all the comforts of home (and more!), this is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to return for our next visit! Highly recommended.

we enjoyed our stay. all the appliances were as described and were of a great help to us. although the approach road to the property from the main highway is a task with sharp inclines, but uska maza bhi kuch aur hai. I enjoyed climbing those inclines twice a day, specially in my morning walks. Every place has its plus and minuses and it depends upon an individual how to find a way to enjoy and have a great time. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the La Vie cottage hosted by Sarika ji. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning decor and aesthetics that beautifully blended modern comfort with charming rustic touches. Every room was thoughtfully designed, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere.The amenities were top-notch, ensuring a truly enjoyable stay. The highlight was the breathtaking location. Waking up to a view of the snow-covered mountains was simply magical, and we spent countless hours just soaking it all in. The garden was another delightful surprise however it needed maintainance. Sarika ji is an extremely proactive and responsive host.The cherry on top was the delicious food cooked by the caretaker Trilok ji who also catered to all our needs. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and serene stay. Can’t wait to come back in the summer 🙂

Our stay at the villa was undoubtedly the highlight of our entire Uttarakhand journey. The location offered breathtaking views and an atmosphere of sheer tranquility. From serene mornings spent breathing in the crisp valley air to delightful evenings on the terrace creating cherished memories with friends, the villa proved to be an exceptional host to our experience. We were thoroughly impressed by the meticulous arrangements at the villa. From the welcoming sensor lights at the gate that guided us during late-night arrivals to the array of thoughtful amenities, every detail was well-planned. Dining options were versatile, with the choice of a maid preparing meals at the villa, a cook conveniently located nearby, or simply ordering from nearby restaurants. The bedrooms were designed to offer ultimate coziness, and the charming drawing room, complete with a fireplace, added a warm and inviting touch. Sunilji’s hospitality was unparalleled. Always just a phone call away, he is prompt.

Nidhi is a great Host. She will make sure that you are comfortable and your needs are met. The caretaker was aslo helpful and explained to us about the house pretty well. The views from the property are beautiful. Will recommend staying there for a quite, peaceful and private stay. P.S.- The slope to reach the propery might look scary at first but it is easily manageable. Put your vehicle on first gear and use engine breaking. Do not pull the engage the clutch while going down. I managed to go up and down 2 times on my 350 Kgs bike without any issues.

After a long trip in Uttarakhand, Govind Uncle’s place felt like HOME! The house is peaceful with well-kept lawns and mountains around, even though the main road’s hustle is just outside, the place is peaceful. The rooms are super clean & well maintained. Uncle and Aunty made us feel just at home with their early morning and evening chats, and helpful guidance throughout. It felt like visiting parents! Deepa, their helper, is a gem! always proactive and ensured we were comfortable, even helping with simple, tasty home meals that fit our dietary needs. If you want a homely stay rather than a hotel while enjoying Jim Corbett, this is a must. The Royal dhaba just outside served delicious, customised food. The sweetest part was Dude, their friendly dog, who guarded our rooms and made us feel even more at home! Must visit place!!

Great place to cut you off from the city life. Pankaj ji (host) was always reachable and responsive. Bunty ji and Balam singh ji made our stay very comfortable. Food was good as well. The place is actually into the wilderness. we spoted barking deer and Sambar deer from the balcony itself. Its kids friendly. We will visit here again.

The property is nestled in a quaint part of Majkhali, with easy access from the National Highway. There's 2 switchbacks and a short dirt trail + concrete road wide enough for one car leading to the property. Fairly easy to navigate through for anyone used to driving on the hills. The Chalet is as described in the pictures, and is maintained well by the hosts. The bedrooms aren't too cramped, and the bathrooms are neat. The kitchen had all basic cutlery, crockery, and glassware. The food menu has most of the basic varieties and local choices included, and the cook, Harish, prepares a fine meal. Being in a hamlet, we were asked to place our food orders a few hours in advance, which was completely understandable for the staff to go out and buy fresh produce. The caretaker, Paan Singh, is super jovial, and always ready to assist in anything required. I spent 3 days here with my parents, and we went back satisfied with the experience and the hosting.
