Ajesh sir is a wonderful host. Maps was giving the wrong directions to the Farm Stay (showing a short-cut route), we called Ajaesh sir, and he came to the place where we got stuck and guided us to the place. We booked two cottages, they were very well maintained, they are in the middle of the Plantation and the view is awesome. We spent more time taking Pictures. Ajesh Sir served us a delicious Kerala Appam breakfast. we definitely recommend this place. It's like living close to Nature, birds sound, cool breeze, waterfall sound.. a perfect place!

we as 13 head count friends enjoyed the stay. host and people over the there are extremely helpful. the cook is so kind and accommodate most of our request even multiple times cooked the items based on our request. 1s floor is prefect or friends party and family fun. spacious floor with multiple balcony and proper ventilation. only con(personal) since it is located in valley surrounded by pretty forest. you might have some insect guest. Other than that no issues with stay. even food expense is nominal compare by older experience in other stays.

Peaceful, clean and very kind homestay. Healthy meals. Beautiful views. Kids friendly. Very knowledgable hosts. Daily yoga sessions before breakfast for our children. Nice tips for excursions around the area. Authentic experience, much better than what a resort can offer (however, day trips to the nearby resorts can also be arranged). Nothing we missed!

This place by the Offbeat crew is exactly as described. The location is the best, there are a few amazing spots around the property such as a natural pool with amazing lighting at night, an incredible balcony perfect for bird watching all times of day and a few stargazing spots at night. The host is more than happy to sort out lunch and dinner as well as planning lovely offbeat days out such as trekking through the jungle or going to secluded waterfalls, completely alone. It really feels like the surroundings are all yours!

Our recent stay at Mud House - wildmysteries was an enchanting escape into nature's embrace. Whether we were lounging on the patio or exploring the nearby hiking trails, every moment spent at wildmystries was infused with the tranquility of the natural world.Beyond its idyllic setting, what truly sets this homestay apart is the kindness and warmth of its hosts. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with hospitality and a genuine desire to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.Whether it was offering tips on the best spots to explore or preparing delicious meals using locally sourced ingredients, their attentive service left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and we are grateful for the memories.

Hi Everyone, I really will recommend this place. The house is superb clean with 3 rooms and additional bed as well. Ajay is super friendly. He spend his time to walk & show us the unexplore Waterfall in Munnar. It’s near to the house, but you need to hike to see the beautiful natural Waterfall. The best part of the trip, Ajay’s mom cooking. No words & fantastic. They offered us breakfast & the Dinner meal the mom cook for us, we felt like home. The home cooked were so delicious. Tips to the travellers, the house is in the middle of the Cardamon Plantation. The Journey to the house is 10-15min offroad by 4x4 Jeep. So get all your things before you head to the home. After 15mins ride, you will know it worth the penny you paid. Traveller will definitely will enjoy the ride. Ajay & his family are super friendly and always there for us when we need them. We ask them to prepare the Campfire & BBQ, without any hesitation they prepared for us. It’s additional cost but definitely worth it.

Canaane Estate is certainly one of a kind. Pleasant weather, rich greenery, unique birds, funny swans and easy short treks. I walked around to explore the estate and found cool spots where we could just sit down and chill. Good place to stay and relax for anybody!

Pleasant stay at a lovely property in a beautiful location.

We were a groups of 8 adults and 3 kids and stayed here for 3 nights . Accessibility was a stand out as this is just a km from the main road and roads up-to and inside the property is great. Checkin was seamless and the view from the balconies and outside dining area is a standout. Scenic and peaceful The caretaker Moncy was a delight . He was warm , cordial and attentive all the time . He acted as a caretaker, organised cook for us who cooked awesome food , he acted as a guide for us taking us around to some untouched view points and was literally with us all three days . The place has a beautiful huge hall with home theatre which our kids just loved and had a wonderful time at . Three neat and nice bedrooms , awesome sit out, amazing lawn area ….. There were very small glitches initially with warm water, food arrangements etc but these were no fault of the property so would suggest. Better and clear coordination. Overall, we would any-day wanna go back to this place

My husband and I stayed at Sanjeewani's place in Kokkal for four weeks in May 2019. It was the most peaceful and relaxing time I have had for very long rime, exactly what I needed. We had a little house all for our self on the compound with two rooms plus bathroom. Simple but cheerfully decorated, with fresh bed linen and towels and warm blankets. The bedroom had a window alcove, perfect to sit and relax, with a view of the mountains. There were several guided trek options available, but mostly we wandered around on our own in the beautiful surroundings. There was also the option to take a taxi and make a day trip to Kodaikanal, 45 minutes away. Sanjeewani and her team cooked for us and made everything to make us comfortable. Regretfully having to finally leave, we comforted ourselves that we will surely return! Highly recommended for those looking for peace in the midst of nature.

It was a nice stay, good for that price. and Binto was very helpful, he even arranged the Jeep for us for the sunrise. He recommended the food places who even delivered the food. The location was also nice and very near to the sunrise zero point. Just that the bathrooms had few insects, other than that everything was good.

Great location amidst tea plantations.

This property is very close to the elephant viewing point may be less than 5 mins drive. we saw around 25+ elephant starting from evening 6 to night 10. U can anytime go to see the elephant. caretaker anoop will inform us when ever the elephant comes. coming to the property it is better than the photos. we can reach the river buy just walking a min. lot of birds in the morning. they have facilities like bbq and campfire as well. food will be arranged by Mr. anoop. you can also opt for a 2 to 3 hrs offroading safari which will be organised by the caretaker and also u can bath in waterfalls, 33 waterfalls is one of the best. if you come to anakulam, u can definitely visit this property.
