This was an extra special trip, I proposed to my lady just down the street before we checked in! Was very peaceful, clean and classy. We loved the hot tub and got to try a lot of different places in the kawartha region. Will definitely be back some day.

My husband and I stayed here in the midst of an absolutely gorgeous fall weekend. We could not have gotten any luckier with the weather or the view of the forest, it was exactly what we were hoping for. Kristin, Chris and Charlie were welcoming and kept to themselves. They put out extra firewood in a wheelbarrow so it was easily accessible for us. Their property was absolutely gorgeous and exactly as the photos on the listing. The bed was so comfortable, both my husband and I had 2 great nights sleep and slept in. The hot tub was spacious and so enjoyable, I believe we were in and out at least 6 times. The instructions for the toilet and the rest of the cabin were easy to follow and we ran into 0 issues. We will certainly be back, if Kristin and Chris will have us 😊👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I had the best time at Sarah's place. It was so relaxing and and peaceful, I really needed to get away from the city and work and just take some time to unwind and relax. The beach cabin was a delight to stay in, everything was decorated so well and the hot tub and sauna helped us to decompress! There is a bbq to cook on and everything inside is spotless and pristine. It's a great place to visit for a girls trip or to reconnect with your partner! I can't wait to go back.

Arlee was a sublime host. All of amenities were just as described. the location was great, host was extremely responsive and helpful. I would definitely come back and visit this place again with our family

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! It felt cozy, secluded, and the perfect escape from everyday life. The sauna, hot tub, and gym were such a bonus and really added to the experience. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating weekend getaway!

Victoria was a very responsive host and very helpful. I felt like the living/kitchen area was a bit small/smaller than anticipated but other than that everything was pretty great. The entry way is leaking so the basketball game isn’t really playable at the moment.

My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful time at Matthew’s property—it was the perfect escape from the city. From the moment we arrived, we felt immediately relaxed and at peace in the beautiful, serene surroundings. The home itself was immaculate and thoughtfully designed, with stunning furnishings that made the entire space feel both luxurious and incredibly comfortable. It honestly reminded me of an elegant adult treehouse—elevated, tranquil, and full of charm. We spent our days enjoying each other’s company, unwinding, and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. It was exactly what we needed to recharge. Thank you, Matthew, for creating such a magical retreat!

We had a lovely stay at Cristian’s this September (2 couples + 2 babies). We spent most of our time enjoying the ample seating on the deck and dock, but there was plenty to do indoors as well. Gorgeous and serene views of the river. We went for a pedal boat and kayak ride everyday. Everything at Cristian’s was exactly as pictured and him and Vera were super responsive to all our questions. Would happily stay here again!

The listing and hosts were excellent. They were very friendly, responsive and accommodating. The property was amazing! If anything, the listing undersold it. The two cottages were very clean and well kept. There was an endless supply of activities (indoor and outdoor). There were board games, puzzles, DVDs and more. There was a whole shed full of inflatable pool toys, outdoor games, a massive floating pad, paddle boards and a paddle boat. The cottages were well stocked with home essentials like coffee/tea, foil, ziplock bags, etc. They thought of everything. We actually said that phrase out loud several times during our stay. Our family had an amazing time! We would highly recommend staying here. We plan to re-book ourselves.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. It was clean, cozy and very comfortable. Given the time of year, it is was Winter Wonderland, and we look forward to another weekend this spring or summer.

The cabin was so cute and cozy. It was a great romantic get away from the city. The screened in porch was a great place for cocktails and reading and It was a short five minute walk into town. Christine was very responsive to all of our enquires. We will definitely be visiting again!

The location of this property is amazing. My family and I enjoy our morning walks and our coffee time at the lake. You have everything you will need, just remember to bring your bed sheets, blankets, towels, etc. since as the listing mentions, these are not provided. There is a large convenience store with a LCBO very close by (10 min walking). The surroundings of the property are breathtaking. In general , very nice stay.

The cabin is really nice, not too close to the other cabins near by. Dishes and silverware were provided which was nice, and a mini fridge as well. We brought our own portable stove as there is no oven/stove at the cottage, and everything worked out perfectly. We stayed in cottage #3 which seemed closest to the beach area and access to kayaks, canoes, paddles, etc. Front desk was very nice and supportive when we asked to have the beach shed unlocked for us to go canoeing. Golfing is also a really fun thing to do on site! We rented clubs and golf carts and had a great time. No complaints! Nice and quiet area to go with friends, family, or as a couple.

Perfect place to relax and stay away from the city. Very cozy and clean, comfortable mattress and it has all you need to cook. The cottage is spacious surrounded by trees and extremely beautiful in the morning with the sun hitting the trees with the fall colours. Take a time to have a coffee in front of the river. Anthony and Michael answered all my questions really quickly. Furnace falls is minutes away and I highly recommend a visit there. I would love to stay there again.

We had a lovely time at Alyse's cabin! The place was as described and got very cozy with the wood stove. 2 plates and 4 mugs are included with the butane stoves, as well a kettle and some tea. The trail on the property was nice and well marked. The firepit was also very nice and there was a clear view of the stars at night. We were able to roast marshmallows and enjoy the Lyrids meteor shower. The host was also very responsive throughout the trip and provided many helpful recommendations. Be sure to bring two sets of sheets to use both the loft and pull out bed, as well as hand sanitizer. The loft bed feels more like a twin bed due to the walls, but the bed on the main floor pulls out to a king. Also be prepared to have no cell signal in the area depending on your carrier.

Wonderful cottage with a beautiful view of the lake and a big yard with lots of privacy. Amenities are great and as described, the patio is very nice to lounge on and the fireplace is a nice touch for the evenings. The beds are super comfy, wifi is great, living room has a nice tv, bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels, and everything was super clean on our arrival. Most importantly, Shana was a terrific host, always quick to respond and answer any questions, and super accommodating with everything. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

We had a wonderful stay! Andrey and his wife met us, showed us around briefly and then were on their way. They were available by phone if we needed them. The cottage is lovely and has all the amenities we needed. It is spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Being right on the water was terrific and the sunsets were amazing! We were thankful to be able to use the fishing rods, canoe and life jackets. Too bad the paddle boat was broken. We would definitely come again!

Overall our stay was very good. Lake is beautiful , water in the lake was amazing (deep, clean, clear and warm) and we were swimming a lot. The cottage itself is spacious for 8 people, big bedrooms, good furniture, nice high dinner table but with only 6 high chairs. The description of cottage was very poor not mentioned that access to water not suitable for people with mobility issues and small kids. To access to waterfront you need to overcome 86 stairs down to water and then back to cottage. This feature must be in the initial description of cottage, it is not clear from cottage pictures.

It was a pleasure staying here. The host was very responsive and helpful; everything matched the property description and was clean. We are having a really good time here celebrating the New Year. I recommend this cozy house to everyone looking for a quiet place with a good cost-to-quality ratio.
