We had a wonderful family getaway with our kids and our cat. The house is warm and welcoming, with an amazing view of the lake. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, and the air hockey table was a fun way to spend time with the kids. We lit the fireplace, watched a movie, and ended the night cozied up with our two boys and our cat. It was a truly relaxing and memorable stay. Highly recommended! Georges is a kind and attentive host who checked in regularly to make sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be visiting again.

Beautiful spot much smaller in real life but because it was so well curated it didn’t even matter. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

We had the opportunity to stay at this charming home/cottage and loved everything about it. My family and I loved the location...on a mountain on the Bay of Fundy. This well stocked home had everything we needed; super comfy beds, lots of seating, a gas stove, a well stocked kitchen, and the cottage decor continued to put a smile on my face. There was a fire pit, a fireplace, heat pumps, a beach within walking distance and a hot tub! What more could one ask for?! This was my first Airbnb experience and Jessica made it easy for my family and I to enjoy it. I highly recommend if you are looking for a cozy property near the ocean. A few things to keep in mind: the hot tub is not accessible if you have mobility issues, you need to bring your own wood for the fire pit, dogs are allowed but are not allowed on the furniture, the upstair two bedrooms were hot, and you are nestled between other properties. Overall, we loved it and hope to return again.

We had a wonderful time at Sam's place! The location was absolutely beautiful, and there was so much to do just on the property. They provided clear instructions for our stay and were quick to answer any questions we had. The store a few minutes up the road was a great added touch for food and treats as well. We will definitely be back, would recommend!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The host was very responsive before and during our stay, to accommodate our requests and make sure we were comfortable. Also gave us recommendations on places to visit around the area. The house was clean and tidy and just what we needed for our getaway, and the hot tub was big plus! Highly recommend.

Very relaxing and quiet place. It poured rain the second night we were there so we enjoyed the games room! It was a lot of fun. We would definitely stay here again!

As someone who grew up in the Valley, I’m always on the hunt for those magical little getaways that feel like home—but better. We found just that in this Scots Bay getaway! It checked every single box for our family: peaceful vibes, breathtaking ocean views, a bubbling hot tub and easy-peasy access to Cape Split—perfect for hiking with our adventurous 5-year-old and our equally energetic pup. The place was spotless, super cozy, and our hosts were absolute rock stars when it came to communication. You can tell they’ve put a lot of heart into creating a welcoming space. Only tiny suggestions from a seasoned weekender: a few board games would be a lovely touch for rainy evenings, and an air fryer would be the cherry on top (but we usually BYO for longer stays anyway🤣). The hot tub? Glorious. A pergola over it would make it even more perfect for stormy soaks or cozy winter dips. All in all, we loved every moment and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay if you're looking to unwind in a peaceful setting. The view is spectacular, amazing sunsets. Great hosts. This was our 2nd visit. Will be back next year!

Beautifully curated and well equipped home. Loved the refillable organic products, luxury bedding, comfortable beds, lots of fluffy towels. The kitchen had everything we needed and more - the vitamix was a welcome surprise as were the supplies needed to compost. Lots of outdoor seating and quiet places. The sauna was a treat. Would love to visit in the summer - the beach looked great, take a turn on the swing or relax in the hammock. Lots of room and parking. No children in our group, but the kitchen and basement were well stocked with dishes and activities for little ones. Owner was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend. (The little touches such as the dragonfly door handles were truly appreciated)

This was an excellent stay. The cottage was beautiful and well stocked! The location on the lake was perfect, and the neighbouring cottages were very friendly and peaceful. The internet service was great, and there was plenty to do around the cottage. The interior was very cozy and welcoming. We stayed with a group of 7 very comfortably!

Beautiful location, great beach for rock collecting with low tide. Socal table restaurant was very close and delicious. Not far from Lobster Pound which we enjoyed. Cottage is rustic, initially not sure about the outdoor shower as the weather was cool but it was worth the experience. We kept the wood stove going as it was cool the first night. Not your typical Airbnb stay, but worth it!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house. The property is absolutely stunning—immaculately landscaped, with a spacious lawn leading right to the lake and a lovely sandy beach. The grounds were ideal for families, with lots of room for the kids to run, play, and even ride their bikes on the hard surface areas. In the evenings, the adults enjoyed gathering around the fire pit—it was the perfect spot to unwind. Inside, the home was just right for our large family gathering. We had four couples and five little ones, and the space worked beautifully—comfortable, open, and thoughtfully laid out for both togetherness and relaxation. Caitlin was a fantastic host—so easy to communicate with, warm, and responsive. The whole experience felt more like being welcomed into someone’s home than staying in a typical rental. It was charming, cozy, and truly special. We’re already looking forward to the chance to return!

This location is perfect for exploring the area! Heather gave clear driving directions due to road closures. The house was cozy, we loved the wood fireplace. The dart board was a lot of fun! We had everything we needed.

Overall, Excellent place! I had an amazing stay! The place was exactly as described clean, cozy, and in a great location. The host was super responsive and made check-in a breeze. All the little touches, from the comfy bed to the well-stocked kitchen, made it feel like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great location for a nice night away. It does get really cold at night make sure you put the fire on we didn’t and was freezing,but use the heater

Bob’s place was just what we were hoping for! He accommodated us in every way. We came in a day early and left two days late. He acted like we were doing him a favor instead of the other way around. We have been Airbnb‘s hosts for 7 years and can’t think of a place we’ve enjoyed and more. Well done Bob! We’ll be back.

Absolutely breathtaking! The view from our cottage, the lovely walks on the beach, hiking Cape Split, dinner at Long Table and meeting interesting people from all over North America. We loved watching the tides roll in and out, as it was different every day we were there. We love how private the beach was. It was our favorite place in Nova Scotia! We hope to return. Poleen was an amazing host and very responsive. Highly recommended this beautiful piece of paradise.

Cute, rustic cabin on a beautiful lake. Super functional and comfy spot for our group of four adults and toddler. The lake view is so lovely, though probably too weedy to swim in. The convenience store down the road is super handy for provisions and even really decent dinners. We appreciated having some kids books and games on a rainy day. Recommend this spot!

We had a wonderful weekend at Martin's cottage. It was an idyllic cottage experience. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings with lots of nature (loons, ducks and frogs ). It is a great place to relax. There is a good swimming area and the lake was nice and warm. I will return next time I'm in Nova Scotia!

We loved this location! As a group of middle aged men looking for a simple retreat, this location was easily accessible, offered lots of beds, and had every convenience included.

Ian & Theresa couldn’t have been more kind, allowing us some flexibility for check in/out given very stormy weather during our stay. This is a great spot with nice little beach area and all the water toys. Inside is neat and cozy, and bed was very comfortable. They left a nice booklet with all the info you need. We very much enjoyed our visit despite the rain, and would definitely go back.
