Luxurious home secluded location with rural views

The Lodge is a newly renovated property. It is completely self contained with its own screened patio area. The living space is open plan with a large kitchen, table and chairs, two sofas and a satellite TV. The bedroom downstairs can be made as a kingsize bed or two singles depending on requirements. This bedroom has an en-suite shower room. Upstairs there is a kingsize bedroom with a Velux window and a luxurious bathroom with a beautiful round window. The Lodge is a 5 min drive to the beach.

Our old fisherman's cottage has been in the family for over 400 years. It backs onto the beach, has uninterrupted views out to sea and the waves lapping against the back of the house at high tide. It's an old cottage and therefore has some quirks such as every floor being on a different level! As such, it's not suitable for children or those with mobility issues. We keep rooms in the lower basement area but a separate entrance ensures no disturbance. Guests cannot use the Rayburn or wood fire.

Quiet setting in Wembury village with rural views and sea glimpses from the property. 5-10 mins walk to the beach and Southwest Coastpath and many other rural walks nearby. Beach has a cafe and loos, and is popular for surfing, kayaking and other water sports. The annexe has six steps up to a small area of decking to the front, and access to a large patio and garden to the rear; free street parking. The village has a pub and shop and a bus service to/from Plymouth just outside the property.

Little Islet has panoramic sea views across Plymouth Sound, and is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday by the beach. We are close to the beautiful wedding venue of Polhawn Fort, five minutes by car 15 minutes walk along the lanes. We are only two miles from Mount Edgcumbe and a mile from the twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand. We are three minutes walk from the coast path.
