Great place, equipped with everything you could need. wood provided and firelighters and matches provided for log burner. sheep right outside the decking. set on the back of an equestrian type farm place, nice and quiet. we walked to the white swan, about 15mins, great food. Rail Trail nearby was a nice walk. hot tub was great, press and hold the right hand button to adjust the temp, took us a day to figure that out, and the first button on left adjusts the bubbles. there was individual jams and butters in the fridge, prosecco, crisps and biscuits, tea coffee sugar and 2pints of milk provided. it wasn't immediately obvious how to turn on the towel radiator in the bathroom, but there's a tiny switch on the bottom right. shower was OK did the job, but kinda what you expect from an electric shower. The postcode didn't take us right to the place but if you just keep going along the same road you will get to the gate to the farm. 100% recommend, would stay again.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings, beautiful lodge....comfy beds,lots of towells and lovely bedding.....would highly recommend ,felt right at home as sooon as we arrived and we will definitely be staying again .....hot tub on point ,very clean, lovely and warm all day ...Will is a brilliant host and is clearly dedicated to his business....we have had the best time 😊😊😊

Great stay at the Lookout Lodge! Jo was always on hand to provide help and the facilities have everything you need. Brilliant views and a relaxing time had! Will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends!

Amazing break away. Peaceful setting, stunning views. A great place to switch off and relax. Nick was a great host from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend the breakfast box.

My family and I stayed Monday to Friday, fabulous site, the lodge was perfect for us and the staff really helpful. Lovely stay.

We had the most amazing time staying here. The accommodation was lovely and the location is perfect for going on walks. Emma was an amazing host and we had lovely time meeting all the lambs.

The Niblet is in a beautiful hillside position. Watching the wildlife from the hottub (Rabbits, Red Kite, Lambs, horses) was wonderful creating the was the most relaxing retreat. A great location to explore the North York moors.

Just returned from a lovely weekend in the lodge. The lodge was very cosy, lovely log burner. Private and peaceful location. All amenities provided. Would definitely return.

We had a lovely few days at Stowaway in Runswick Bay. Such peaceful and relaxing surroundings, looking out onto fields and just a short walk to the beach. The lodge was really cosy and had everything we needed. We will be booking again! Deborah & Richard

Beautiful location, great communication and instructions. The accommodation was lovely with a really comfy bed.

A long awaited break and worth every minute. Quiet, pet friendly, walks from the site available, so for a short break, plenty to do in the area without having to go far.

we had a fantastic stay at the lodge. A great location for visiting all of Yorkshire and a lovely setting on the lake. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evening and all round had a wonderful stay. Ruth was a great host!

Nice large static caravan outside of York, but very convenient. Quiet and comfortable perfect for families.

Stayed at Emma’s place for 3 days & wished we had booked for longer, had everything we needed, loved the welcoming gift of chocolates & a bottle of wine. The Costa machine was so nice & a lovely touch. We had lots of walks with the dogs on our doorstep & lovely views of the lake. Will definitely return 😍

We've just returned from a short stay at my happy hounds. Our glamping pod Hugo was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless considering these are dog friendly. The welcome pack was also a nice touch with all quality items. We have 2 dogs one that is very nervous, he settled in well as it was peaceful and private and having ample space for them to run and play at the pod and the secure dog fields, these are a great facility for anyone traveling with a dog. It's only a short drive to find local amenities and finding my happy hounds was easy with Google maps being accurate. The communication from Harry was excellent with plenty of information and help if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already started talking of booking again for the future. We really enjoyed our stay in the pods and had such a relaxing time! They were super clean and beautiful inside with everything you could need in the kitchen and also had amazing views outside where our dog loved to look through the window. We especially loved how peaceful it was and the TV was an added bonus to relax at night. The location was great, it wasn’t far from Durham for a day trip and lots of local pubs/restaurants a ten minute drive away. Lucy was the perfect host and even let check in early/out late, her communication was top draw and she was super responsive but really appreciated how she left us to our own devices. Would love to stay in Summer and experience the outside a bit more, highly recommend 🙂 thanks again for an amazing stay!

Lovely lodge and as the pictures. Very spacious with plenty of space for the 4 adults and 2 children. A great space overall and full of everything you need. Great value

A beautiful couple of nights stay at Chris’ Airbnb. Could not fault the cabin one bit, it was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. The outdoor area and hot tub were also spotless and very clean. We would come back here in a heartbeat and will be recommending to friends!

We were a family of 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog and Sharon’s cabin was lovely and clean and perfect for a few days away. It was kitted with everything we needed and more but the smart TV, reclining sofas, electric fireplace and the coffee machine were such a bonus. Sharon was very quick to respond to a few queries and also super friendly. We’d definitely come back, thank you for having us 😊

We stayed here as a part of my partners birthday celebrations. This was our first time staying somewhere like this and the lodge was everything we could have wished for and more!! The check-in process was clear and easy. The lodge was well decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to have a great, relaxing weekend. The location was perfect, so beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was an obvious stand out for us, very warm and relaxing. Overall our stay was perfect and we could not fault our lodge and are already discussing coming back later in the year! We have also recommended to our families who are also interested.

Just got back from 2 blissful days at Kingfisher Cabin. It really can't be overstated but how beautiful and peaceful this cabin is. We seemed to have all 4 seasons in the span of 2 days but even in the rain this place is cosy and peaceful. Within a couple hours of being there we decided to make it a regular visit for us. Gemma is a perfect host; friendly, helpful and quick to respond. 10/10 experience in every aspect.

Just what we needed - and more. A local base to bed-down whilst visiting family nearby - without getting under their feet too much. All clean, tidy and cosy. Kate was super-welcoming - showing us to the door and checking we could operate the heating, etc. A lovely setting, right on the waterfront. A handy location for the new Vermuyden Way parkrun which has recently started in Belton/Sandtoft.

Peter's place was spotless! he is an awesome host and even helped us set up a barbecue. the place is exactly as advertised and we loved the vibes!

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at Pete’s cabin. It was lovely and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing. Pete was always on hand to help re heat the hot tub. The fresh eggs from the hens were a great addition and were very tasty! Overall it was an amazing stay and would highly recommend Pete’s cabin to anyone wanting a lovely peaceful get away!
