Lovely short break with kids at Brian's place. The setting is gorgeous and a great base for visiting the stunning Slieve League cliffs and the sights of the surrounding countryside - Malin Beg beach and the folk village at Glencolombkille were highlights for us. Sauna an added bonus. Directions and instructions all clear and easy to follow and we were made to feel very welcome in this beautful corner of Donegal.

Peggy is a great host, takes care of everything. The cottage is beautiful and one may experience the warmth and peace. Highly recommended.

Couldn't have been a more perfect stay for my family. Overall, a great experience. The accommodation was tidy, well-maintained, and had all amenities I needed. Margaret greeted us with her freshly baked cookies and Guinness bread. She was friendly and quick to respond to any questions. It’s a solid option for travelers and families looking for a reliable and comfortable place to stay. It was my husband's second time here and I’d surely consider booking again in the future.

We loved staying at Dora’s cottage! So many beautiful spots to explore nearby, including Slieve League, and we loved how beautifully appointed and comfortable it was. From the huge kitchen to laundry room, and so many nice places to sit outside as well as super comfortable beds, it was a great spot to end our Ireland adventure.

Frank’s cottage was absolutely perfect & in the most stunning setting. It’s a tiny footprint with oodles of space. Bedrooms are super comfy and the bathroom/wetroom works well. The kitchen has everything you want/need including a view to die for. Sitting room is also a great space & really cosy with the wood burning stove. There’s a little market in the village where, unless you’re looking for anything niche, you can get all your provisions. We did a walk up the hill turning left out of the drive & brace yourselves for the view over Donegal Bay. It’s a showstopper! Not sure if Frank is a superhost….if not, he should be!

This is our second visit. Exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful surroundings & great hill walking right on the doorstep. We’ll be back!

This is such a beautiful and unique place, both the cottage itself and the stunning surroundings. The cottage had so much character and was extremely well equipped and comfortable. You open the door straight into the remote Donegal countryside with only sheep as your neighbours! It was incredibly peaceful and we wished we could stay here longer. The cottage is a beautiful walk or a 10 min drive from the sea at Port, with a beach and cliff walks. Further afield are plenty of beautiful spots to explore in this beautiful corner of Donegal.

Such a cute place! The inside is snug and welcoming, and the bed and chairs are quite comfy. Cat left everything set up for us to light the fire since they couldn't be there when we arrived. Instructions were clear; we knew beforehand about the separate bathroom too so it wasn't an issue. And it's very, very close to the lookout for Slieve League. Would stay again!

We had such a relaxing stay at Puffin Lodge. Super clean and comfy accommodation, gorgeous scenery and friendly welcoming hosts. All the ingredients that make for a special AirBnB experience. Would highly recommend!
