Trailside! The Owl’s Nest at Mt Emily Rec Area

Although it is near a well-used parking area for Mt Emily Rec Area, it was still peaceful and we enjoyed a pleasant chat and book reading on the porch, saw a doe with two yearlings and a female turkey. The home is simply goregous inside and out with a fabulous, well-marked kitchen, an ADA shower in one bathroom, luxury accomodations, a great find for a retreat, a BBQ party, a family stay, or even a winter vacation. It is near enough to LaGrande for dinner out, catch a movie, or a visit to Hot Lake. The windows are plentiful and the entire home is designed for glamping. We were impressed with the cleanliness, the details, and the setting. We were four older ladies enjoying a bible retreat and had a great weekend. We will return and suggested it for our men's group. Nearby was an archery shoot so there are possibilities of recreation. The drive to took us past horses and colts. It was fun.

Nadine's place was a nice place for us to stay while watching our daughter play at EOU. There are a lot of stairs to get in the upstairs apartment, which is shown in the pictures. It wasn't a surprise. The living room seating was comfortable and so was the largest room's bed. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen. It was a nice place to stay.

Our family really enjoyed this house. The host was very friendly. The house was super clean. The outside surrounding was clean and very peaceful. I would recommend this place. I would like to rent this place again when we visit. Thank you so much.

The Cedar House.

It was a last minute decision to stay in La Grande after a week long river trip and windy 3 hour shuttle drive. Jessica confirmed the stay within minutes of our request. The house was great for our crew. The hot water lasted thru all the showers. The kitchen was well equipped.

Heidi and her Mountain Home were the perfect combination for a weekend retreat. She gave us recreation and dining ideas that we used and totally enjoyed. She was responsive tomorrow questions and her home is lovely and peaceful. We look forward to staying there again sometime soon.

Century Farm Charm at the Century Pine Cottage

This beautiful spot was so charming and we hated to leave. I miss it already. We were visiting our family and the cottage was perfect in every way. I hope we can come back and enjoy this peaceful serenity soon. Easy access and the surroundings and landscaping was serene and restorative. A great place to relax, explore and see enticing Eastern Oregon. Our hosts were very accommodating and we just wished we found this exclusive place earlier. I know anyone would enjoy staying here. All furnishings were impeccable and cozy. They had coffee, snacks and even provided soft and comfy bedding, towels and all cooking utensils anyone could think of. I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful property.

This house was a great Airbnb stay for our family. Extremely clean and lovely space to be in. Bright and cheerful decor, Comfortable beds, Lots of extra amenities. Clear and simple check in/check out process. Sarah was very responsive and flexible. We will definitely return for a stay here when visiting our EOU student! Thank you for being a great home away from home for us!

Spacious Home in the Heart of La Grande

This is THE place to stay if your looking to get to know La Grande or if your looking to attend a function at EOU. EVERYTHING is close. The campus is walkable. Downtown is walkable. The house has a well laid out and stocked kitchen. A great dining space and a spot on the back deck to drink your morning coffee. The views from the windows are of the mountains and the cozy neighborhood around the house. The hosts were helpful and quick to respond to any questions and you could tell they made this place with thoughtfulness for their guests. My kids and I loved it. Plenty of room for the kiddos to run in the backyard and play spots in the house, and also wonderful couches for me to sit and read and, again, drink coffee. (I like my caffeine) Highly recommended place for whatever reason you are visiting La Grande.

We had a lovely week long stay. The primary room and bathroom is so nice, updated and bigger than the pictures make it seem. Quiet neighborhood. Close to EOU. We looking forward to staying again.

Ron,was helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. We were moving and had 2 vehicles, plenty of parking and felt safe there. would recommend his place as anytime.

We had an amazing experience with Lori! The space is beautiful and private, the hosts are wonderful, our pup was welcome and the hosts took amazing care of him while we were away. We ordered breakfast and it was delicious and delivered right to the door for us. We were all over the place with our plans and they were more than happy to accommodate us. Seriously a 10/10 experience with these lovely women!

Tracy was gracious and friendly. We enjoyed beautiful morning views, walking the property and visiting with the animals on her ranch. Tracy's ranch is easy to find and an easy drive outside of LaGrande... a great place to stay if you have multiple people in your party!

The Mays Place Whole House

I was in this area for a memorial service and my plans were tentative at best for the entire weekend. Stacy so kindly worked with me as the family’s plans changed, and my plans changed, and it could not have been a better arrangement. The gorgeous historic home felt so cozy as soon as you walked in. I stayed in the king sized bedroom with the in-room bathroom. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and there was plenty of room to unwind and relax. This was a much needed respite in such a stunningly beautiful area!

We were here for a small family wedding in La Grande and this was the perfect location. Very comfortable, and a nice driveway for 2 cars. We had a decent amount of snow and Alma was out clearing walkways and driveways first thing. Top notch communication and a great place, a short drive to everything. We will stay again!

Such a cute place! This was the perfect housing for what we needed. Easy to travel to our location and close to a variety of places to eat! Definitely going to keep this place in mind if we need to rent again in La Grande in the future!
