My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Samawati. The serene environment is a beautiful space to unwind and reconnect. Rachel was very responsive, as well as Bernice the caretaker. I’d totally recommend this place especially to families looking for a cool serene environment.

Me and my friends had an amazing time at Davida's cottage. Agnes was responsive when we were checking in, and the staff was super friendly and hospitable, making us feel at home. You can order food from the restaurant and get it served in the cottage. The place is very clean and cozy. It was a great find!

Our stay was perfect. Janet was an excellent host who was very responsive and always available to help out whenever we needed anything extra. They gave us milk and vegetables for free during our stay and even some extra as we were leaving. We will go back there soon!! I would highly recommend them.

Ben's place is paradise. I joked to him that his place is the Eden. We got there late; the place was very ready for us. A crackling fire set the warmth. It felt like a second honeymoon. I went to paradise and never wanted to leave.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Jacqui’s property. It was well-maintained and very clean. It was very close to the town, but also had a serene and peaceful aspect. We enjoyed going to the river, barely 5 minutes from the house. Janet was a very responsive host and could answer questions whenever needed. We would visit again soon!

I cannot say enough good things about Elizabeth’s place. She was communicative from the get go and provided multiple recommendations to assist with hiking trips. The lodging and property were picturesque, comfortable, and serene. We were able to explore the Mt Kenya forest directly from the property. Caretakers Faith and Mwenda were the most welcoming and kind. My only caution is, while an easy drive to Nanyuki town, it is far to walk and finding a ride can take planning ahead (though Faith is also helpful in a pinch!). Overall we had a lovely trip and would love to stay there again in the future!

Elizabeth’s place was AMAZING! The place is much better than the photos. Extremely clean, safe and very well taken care of. You have a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to be ready to cook. Also in this place is where l had the best hot shower so far. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stop at Nanyuki and visit mount Kenya & Ngare Ndare Forest. 100% recommend 💚

Highly recommend staying at Solio Gardens. House was lovely and spacious and beautifully clean. Beds were comfy and showers hot! Our children enjoyed the pool table and space in the garden to play football. We were a party of 11 and self catered. Kitchen was basic but fine to cook simple meals. We were confused by the location of the property as the map is inaccurate but Alex explained exact location (near the airstrip in Nanyuki) before we set off. We went to Ol Peteja Conservancy (a 45 minute drive away) which was awesome as you see so many animals. Would stay here again.

Anikia' place is unique. Original set-up in the middle of a huge farm where you can take a real break from everything and disconnect. Kids loved the tree house and the zip line. Despite our original thoughts to do something around The Wagons, due to the remoteness and quietness of the place, we decided to stay and enjoy it as much as possible

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The place was scenic, peaceful, private and well-secured. Also, Alex was very responsive, and a great host! Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Solio Garden's was a fun place for our kids to stay. Our kids loved the ostriches -- Mark and Eunice! They also enjoyed the wandering peacocks.
