Centrally located, downtown, 800 sq. ft. heated solarium suite - bedroom, living room, small bathroom and kitchenette (toaster oven, microwave, electric frypan, mini fridge - not a full kitchen) and sleeper couch, attached to the back of my home. Private entrance out back, winter access thru the garage. Laundry facilities in the garage. Driveway parking. Well behaved dogs are welcome - see rules. Fenced backyard with fire pit. We've recently renovated our basement to create a stylish, modern, cozy and quiet guest suite. There is a side entrance that opens directly onto stairs taking you down to the unit. It has a locking metal exterior door for sound-proofing and security. The unit is a bright studio apartment with three large windows, a full kitchen, sitting area with tv and fireplace, dining table, queen-sized bed, walk-in closet and your own private bathroom with a five-foot shower. Its decor celebrates the charm of small town life, celebrating a connection to nature and setting a happy vacation tone. It's a ten minute walk to our historic downtown, offering unique shops, galleries and creative places to eat and drink. Sunset Point Park is closeby and a network of more than sixty trails is one block away. We are a ten minute drive to Blue Mountain where adventure awaits.

The Carriage House Suites - the North Suite

Welcome to the Carriage House Suites located on the edge of beautiful Blyth Ontario. The suites are next to the historical former Grand Trunk Railway Station that is converted into a home. There is so much to do in Blyth and surrounding area, from dining, live theatre, a craft brewery, to shopping, and beautiful trails. The suites are a short twenty minute drive to the beaches of Lake Huron. There are two suites available, the North Suite and the South Suite. The suites are listed separately.

Our little stone house is located about a 5 min walk to the bluffs of Lake Huron. From there it is a few minutes down the trail to the beautiful Goderich beaches where you can view one of the famous Goderich sunsets or spend a day relaxing on the beach. We are about a 2 min drive or max 10 min walk to the centre of town which Goderich calls 'The Square'. Goderich is known as the prettiest town in Canada and we couldn't agree more!
