You’re about 10 minutes from the beach and if you feel to go a bit further, you can turn left at the top of the road and follow till you come to a little cafe which sells 🍔, 🥪 and🥤. There’s free parking, where you can walk along the beach; enjoy the scenery; watch the boats go by and enjoy the peace.

This accommodation has 1 double bed, 2 twin beds, with a pull out sofa bed in the living area. Beds are made before arrival. Please note that "TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED".

Twitchers Cottage at Broomfield Barn is a beautifully presented converted in 2020, one bedroom cottage. Located on the edge of Oare marshes that is an important wetland reserve with a range of bird species. This area is popular with bird watches, walkers, wildlife photographers and cyclists or anyone who wants a relaxing break away surrounded by open countryside. There is plenty to do throughout the year wether you want coast, town or countryside it’s all in easy reach for your enjoyment.

A warm, stylish, peaceful retreat, perfect for a winter break, with seaside walks and cosy pubs a short stroll away. Treat yourself to a relaxing sauna with bracing cold plunge in the garden spa which is paid for separately. Enjoy Whitstable's great restaurants and cosy cafes. Alba Lodge is a double height space, designed with sustainability in mind. Drift off to sleep in the king size bed. Freshen up in the large walk in shower. Sauna and cold plunge is £30 per couple, per session.

We are only a 10 minute drive into Whitstable & Faversham & an approximate 15 minute drive into the historic city of Canterbury. Seasalter & Whitstable Beaches are also just a 10-15 minute drive away. During the week the local bus runs into both Whitstable & Faversham and Taxis are readily available from either town.

A practical and comfortable base to enjoy Whitstable from.
