Lovely room with gorgeous views of the Dwyryd estuary towards Harlech castle. Within easy reach of Portmeirion, Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula. Ideally situated for cyclists and walkers as we are on a number of cycle and footpaths including the Wales coastal path. Cae Gwyn is in a quiet location but within walking distance of the village centre which has 2 pubs, a spar shop and a number of takeaway. We are also a short walk from the mainline railway station and on several bus routes.

To be aware, it is not 10 minutes to Snowdon as the description says, it's a 30 minute drive.

We are a 19th century refurbished stone house situated five minutes walk from Llangollen centre with off road parking. We have an abundance of activities including kayaking courses,(storage and drying available here), paddle boarding, international mountain bike downhill track. We also have numerous walks including the Offa’s Dyke path and for the less energetic a relaxing horse drawn boat experience. We are also in close proximity of the many wedding venues in the area.

Hafod Y Coed

The Parry family look forward to welcoming you to their home. Hafod Y Coed is a large Victorian Country House, sandwiched between the sea and the Snowdonian foot hills. If you have children (max. two) we can accommodate with airbeds. If you wish to book both rooms, as it is two adults per room, please book twice. Ystafell Las (The Blue Room) is a lovely, light room, with a double bed and king size duvet, large windows, and a view of Y Gogarth (Great Orme). Tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
