Cozy Country Guest House

This is a 600 square ft, completely furnished, living space that is part of my shop. It is quite country living just 12 miles from Emporia. Amenities included: 1 bedroom with king bed, and dresser space. Two loveseat sofas in living room that fold out into single beds. Roku smart TV. WIFI. Completely stocked kitchen. Washer and dryer. Covered patio with gas grill, pellet smoker, and fire pit. Kayaks, paddle boat, fishing gear, corn hole boards, and a basketball goal. Stocked pond with dock.

Hunter’s Retreat

Discover the landscape that surrounds this place to stay. Located on 80 acres along 142 mile creek. Lots of deer, turkeys, and other wildlife. Located approximately 30 miles from 4 wildlife refuge areas, John Redmond, Melvern, Council Grove, and Lyon County State Lake. 20 miles from Emporia and 35 miles from Topeka. 3 miles from the Flint Hills hiking and biking trail. A countryside home, our 1200 sq ft cabin near Emporia, KS features 2 bedrooms (king/queen), 2 baths, big living room, new appliances, kitchen, laundry room and more on a 46-acre, secluded farm. The front porch overlooks a farm field and timber. Walk our trails and skip rocks in Hill Creek. Enjoy the fire pit. Or jump on the Flint Hills Nature Trail - one of the longest rail trails in the US and a favorite for hiking and biking. The FIFA World Cup at Arrowhead is only 110 easy miles away.

The BUNKER. The safest place to stay

Located in downtown Emporia's Art and Entertainment District where many major events are held. With-in walking distance of the Granada Theater and ESU. Ample free parking. Spacious accommodations are sure to please. This space is located in the lower level of a commercial office building that has recently been re-purposed as a guest friendly temp-stay unit with kitchenette. No need to worry when storms rumble through. Don't miss staying in "The Bunker" The safest place to stay.

Red Barn Hideaway

Come stay at the Red Barn Hideaway just 7 miles northeast of Emporia. This quaint little house and beautiful red barn have all the space you'll need. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms as well as a futon sofa in the living room and a queen sized air mattress. 3 Tv’s and wifi is available. The barn can accommodate 1 vehicle and other smaller items such as bikes, canoes, camping/hunting gear, etc. It's just a 10 minute drive into town and you're right near ESU and downtown Emporia.

We are on gravel only one mile from paved roads and four miles from downtown Emporia, making it the perfect quiet yet close-to-it-all place. An excellent place for gravel cycling enthusiasts, or anyone simply wanting to stay in a more peaceful country location.

Private campsite with creek, right off highway 56

Right off Kansas scenic byway 56 in the Flint hills. Bring your tent, rv, or camper. You will be the only one there. This is a dry camp site 'no facilities'. On bluff creek which is mostly rocky, float on a raft or put your chairs in the water, there is a deep swimming hole '12 foot' deep, fishing allowed, there are Bass, Catfish, Gar, have campfires, close to historic Council Grove. Campsite is on the site of a former Atlas E missile silo well houses.
