My experience at Thangamma Residency was fantastic and exceeded my expectations especially as it was my first solo trip! Deepa (The host) was very attentive and provided great local recommendations. She is incredibly welcoming, friendly and responsive, ensuring my stay was enjoyable. The apartment was clean, well-furnished, and located in a quiet neighborhood, making it perfect for relaxation. I really felt like I was at home! The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and had a cozy atmosphere just like the pictures. I appreciated the peaceful surroundings and easy access to nearby attractions. Easy access for taxi bookings and food delivery. It is literally a 2 minute walk to the main road and shops. Amenities included - A/C in both rooms, mosquito nets on all windows and the front door, hot water (geysers) in both bathrooms, iron and board, comfortable beds, washing machine, WiFi, dish TV, fully equipped kitchen (although no microwave) and washing machine! Great place!

We’d visited with family for a day since we had a family function in the city. Very good for those who are comfortable at simple home stays in the city instead of an hotel. I had elderly parents who felt at home as soon they reached the Air BnB The house was spacious and clean. The care taker was sweet and gave clear instructions. Good neighbourhood as well. If you are looking for an affordable stay in Chennai I recommend this apartment.

Had a wonderful stay at Swathi's place! She was extremely helpful throughout the check-in process and provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions that made everything smooth and hassle-free. The place was spotless, very well maintained, and had such a peaceful atmosphere.

We had a comfortable stay at this place. It is very conveniently located with all amenities available at walking distance. Sumi was very responsive at all times and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The place is spacious with big rooms and everything was provided as per description. It has elevator access as well which was required for us, due to my mom’s surgery. We didn’t have any problem during our stay. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy comfortable.

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommend! I recently stayed at this apartment and it was absolutely fantastic! The place is luxurious yet cozy, making it feel like a perfect home away from home. Excellent Host. Very responsive to queries and helpful. Location of the apartment is great, close to Usman Road/Pondy Bazaar if you are interested in shopping. Nearby groceries a minute away. Apartment was very comfortable, we were six of us staying, very neat and clean. I would definitely recommend it and would love to come back. Thanks to the host for taking care of all the requirements.

Gayathri's Airbnb was the perfect place to stay when I was visiting in Chennai. Nestled in prime Besant Nagar neighborhood, the apartment was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable and cozy setup. While I used it as a solo traveler, it can be ideal for a family of 6-8 easy. The location is close to and has easy access to a ton of restaurants and the Beach. The building has 24/7 security which makes it a safe place to stay. Gayathri and her team (Lakshmi) were consistently in touch with me and checked in with me every day to ensure that my stay was comfortable. For a personal trip and visiting Family in Chennai, this was an ideal stay. I highly recommend this Airbnb and will look to stay here again next time I am in Chennai.

Very Wonderful and accomodative host. The check-in was so smooth. The place exactly matches the photos. The projector was icing on the cake along with the sound system. Very near to the main road, amenities and eateries but very peaceful and calm area. Highly recommend this place and its really worth the penny you pay for!

We stayed here during our trip to Chennai for my mother’s US visa interview, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Uncle and Aunty, who hosted us, were absolutely wonderful—kind, thoughtful, and truly went out of their way to make us feel at home and at ease. The location is excellent—very safe and conveniently close to all the important places for both the visa interview and the biometrics center. The house is well connected via Uber, Ola, and public transport, and food delivery from all major platforms works seamlessly here. There are also some really good restaurants nearby, and Uncle shared some fantastic local recommendations with us. What really stood out was how reassuring and kind they were. They checked in to make sure both my mother and I were comfortable—especially during what could have otherwise been a very stressful process. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Chennai.

..I came to chennai with my wife for her treatment . I was lucky to have selected Prabha aunty's place to stay . It was a great stay .. Aunty and Uncle both are such nice person .. moreover , Aunty cooked great food for us .. Thank You Prabha Aunty for the hospitality and everything.. Cant thank you enough!!

Stay was fantastic, we enjoyed the stay, market is near, walkable, to get somethings to cook and enjoy, A great place to stay, beautiful house, nice views from balcony as its 12th floor. Enjoyed in swimming pool, ya we have to bring nylon wears, thanks to Praveen as he kept swimming caps ready at entrance itself :). I suggest guests to walk around to find many things, left side on main road, 400 meters, to the property you get vegetables, meat, fish market, dosa batter, many grocerry shops. so we enjoyed our stay

A lovely host who makes you feel right at home,even buying some groceries for you to have. The apartment is spotlessly clean and so well furnished with quality appliances and utensils that you can use. Bedding, towels actually the works are of extremely high standards. The apartment is absolutely beautiful,airy and bright and lovely terrace as well. Definitely one of the best hosts and places to stay. Absolutely recommended.
