Location was stunning, the host was lovely and it has beautiful walks on the doorstep. Hot tub definitely worth the extra money as elevates the stay to another level. The dog thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well!

I can’t speak highly enough of the space and Emma, the host. Emma is extremely responsive with any queries whatsoever. She was so knowledgeable and helpful and the check in was seamless. When we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat but the pictures just don’t do it justice. The yurt is absolutely magical and Emma has thought of everything, anything you could possibly need is provided and the instruction booklet is clear and thorough so you know how everything works. We slept like kittens in the very comfy bed and it is so unbelievably cosy and relaxing, we didn’t stop smiling the whole time. Thoroughly recommend taking advantage of the hot tub and the pizza oven, Emma’s dough was delicious and the instructions to work the oven were very clear and helpful. We didn’t want to leave. The whole place is so magical with the fairy lights and going to sleep to the sound of owls was really lovely. We will 100% be back. Thank you so much, Emma ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful location very tranquil and perfect countryside accommodation. Ideal for warm evening outside dining and cosy inside for colder nights in with a roaring log burner.

We loved the cottage ,so clean and comfortable and the garden/stream /swing and animals were a real hit with the children. We were made to feel very welcome -homemade cake ,lovely coffee ,bread and eggs ,such a nice touch with Easter eggs for the kids . Thank you Tracey and Dave .

The amenities, dining facilities and seating arrangements were absolutely perfect for four couples. Amazing views of the lake from the master bedroom, patio and lounge. We all loved it!

A truly wonderful and peaceful stay. The amenities were excellent—everything you could need to feel right at home. It’s the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle, with acres of open land for long strolls and scenic walks up the hill. There were plenty of board games to keep both kids and adults entertained throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing escape. Pam was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and very responsive.

Such a wonderful couple of days attending our daughters wedding. Made even more relaxed by staying at Lizzie place. Fantastic directions and info sent in advance. The Old Barn was such a delightful place to stay. Beautiful and peaceful setting, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, even the little dog came in to say hello as we were leaving🥰 I would definitely recommend this home to anyone.

Small , private, comfortable and well equipped property. Parking area adjacent. Lovely enclosed gardens so our young dog was safe and able to play with owners own dog. Hosts were delightful, warm and welcoming. Milk, tea, coffee, sugar provided along with a bottle of cider. We loved our stay and hope to return one day.

From entering the tree lined driveway to arriving and seeing the view from the property, we were delighted with our choice. The interior didn't disappoint - very welcoming, well laid out and clean. The kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms clean and plenty of hot water for showering. Very peaceful location. Our host was very quick to answer any queries. Great to find some laminated maps/instructions for walks in the immediate area.

What an absolutely perfect stay! This is, without doubt, the best AirBnB experience I have ever had. The apartment was just like home - great attention to detail with things like the quality bedding, books, well equipped kitchen, fabulous shower, biscuits, eggs, milk and butter that made us feel like we were at home the moment we arrived. As a garden lover, it was particularly special to be shown around by Rosemary, who clearly enjoys her craft and took time to explain how the garden came to be. John offered recommendations on where to visit, and was so accommodating when we were a bit late to check in - at night, too! They are the kindest of people, who didn't feel at all like strangers. An utterly stunning location with wonderful, peaceful surroundings which led to idyllic sleep! Thank you both, we will most definitely return!

We stayed as a family of 7 (6 adults and a toddler) and two dogs for two nights over the May bank holiday weekend. We had a lovely time. The cottage was clean and comfortable and has a very well equipped kitchen. Didi was very helpful and the check in instructions were clear. We used it as a base to visit Burford and Burton. We ate at the Wheatsheaf pub/hotel one evening which Didi recommended, would recommend. There is a lovely park a few minutes walk away which our toddler enjoyed and plenty of green space for dog walking. Parking was quite easy to find in the village, we had three cars between us and didn’t struggle to find parking. Would happily return. Thanks Didi, great host.

All excellent - only issue was the steep and relatively narrow drive parking. With a long or wide car can be challenging to avoid scratches on your bumper.

We had a wonderful stay at Burrows Court, a beautiful house in peaceful and nature rich surroundings. As a diverse group of adults, young children and dogs it met all of our needs for a special Easter break together. Samantha is a fantastic host, going above and beyond in making arrangements and providing literally everything we might have needed as a group. And the small touches were hugely appreciated…cakes on arrival, treats for the dogs, bunting for a birthday party. Wow. We are all already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you :)

We had a lovely stay at Ann’s house. We arrived to a generous welcome packet of essentials and snacks and two lovely bottles of Prosecco. The house is old with lots of character but the facilities are modern and work well. We stayed at the end of April but the pool was heated for us and we used it every day, we were thankful for the hot tub to warm up on the more overcast days! The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with plates and glasses for entertaining and the Aga and bbq worked well. If you have small children I would recommend bringing plastic crockery as there wasn’t much of that. We would definitely look to come back if we are in the area.

The perfect escape! Farahnaz and Paul are really helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The Summerhouse is so secluded and cosy. it really is a proper escape from the "Busy Life" Shakurs on the corner is a great place to eat if you get the chance. Lovely place to stay with great facilities. Super host. Loved the small touches such as the access to children’s toys and wine on arrival. Fantastic views . We loved that we could watch the animals. We had a wonderful stay at Strove Cottage while visiting the Cotswolds. The place was beautiful, spotless, and very relaxing, especially with the pool out back. The breakfast hamper was a delicious touch, Ros & Hugh were so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the Cotswolds or just need a peaceful getaway. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Had the most wonderful 3 nights in Cow Pen Cottage. Perfect location with a fantastic farm shop (Cobbs) next door selling fabulous top quality local produce to make wonderful breakfasts with. Wendy was so helpful, giving very clear instructions and points of interest to visit. The cottage is quaint & full of character but still has all the mod cons necessary. Wendy gave us a lovely warm welcome with strawberries & prosecco and chocolates by the bed. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean and a very welcome addition each day. There were so many attractions within a very short drive and that made Cow Pen Cottage the perfect base to explore Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds. We will definately be back some day. Lovely place right on the water. Looks better than the photos. Had everything we needed in a great location with access to pool and with onsite restaurant and little shop. Perfect for a get away would come again

Heron's Nest is in a very beautiful location just west of Swindon with great access to Cirencester and surrounding Cotswold villages. Hillary was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is a secure back garden, perfect for pets and with a stunning view. There are a few walks around the local fields/property which was perfect for a morning walk with the dog. Very clean and tidy inside. We were surprised to find a smart TV with the usual streaming services. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to explore the Cotswolds.
