Close by lies the vegetable garden, and friendly cows graze just over the fence. Further out over surrounding farmland you can see Tongariros snow capped mountains in the distance, so sit back and enjoy. Kinloch Lake House

Located in a quiet cul de sac, just a short walking distance to the lake. A two story home with a large open area upstairs offering a sofa, one queen and one double bed. Downstairs, there are two double bedrooms, with queen beds and a smaller bedroom with a double bed. A modern kitchen, dinning and lounge with ranch sliders onto the deck. A separate shower, toilet, hand basin/vanity and laundry. Lovely decks, outdoor furniture, BBQ and large pizza oven/outdoor fireplace. Fenced x 3 sides.

Romantic secluded shepherds hut lake views hot tub

A romantic and secluded spot to hideaway and enjoy nature. Backed by native ponga forest. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Sit on the swing seat with a book and glass of wine and gaze out at the spectacular views of the lake and volcano. Then fire up the hot tub bath with ample room for two and enjoy the starlit skies or a movie on the outdoor screen. Toast smores over the fire pit. Walk down for a swim at Stoney Point Beach or take out the kayak. Note: Short 25m uphill hike to the hut.

Soothing Riverside Cabin, Taumarunui

No cleaning fee, minimum 2 night stay. Cabin is a bedroom only, toilet, shower and kitchen located separately a few metres away. You are on the tip of a peninsula in the Whanganui River. Lie in bed and watch the fish rise in the morning, sit around the fire in the evening enjoying the peace and quiet after a swim. Mountains are 40 mins away, kayaking tours 10 mins away and Taumarunui is 12km. Please don't bring water, safe water is provided. Limiting plastic is much appreciated. No pets.

Luxe linens on two queen beds plus an inner sprung sofa bed makes a comfortable additional bed for guests; well stocked kitchen with fridge basics; sliding doors open onto the patio for morning Nespresso; evenings around the fire pit. Bedding and towels provided. Great wifi. Lock your bikes away out of sight in the laundry area. Our place = your home away from home.

Private entry (off a large timber deck with an overhead pergola), is to the spacious dining and living areas with adjacent sleeping areas, bathroom and kitchenette. The walls contain original NZ art. This apartment is not suitable for young children who need space to run around inside.

Converted woolshed, set on a small farm of 25 hectares. We have cows and horses. We are 15 min from Taupo town. The Woolshed is separate from our home, giving you privacy during your stay. From the deck area/French doors all you will see is farmland! We are directly off SH1, down a long drive way, making this a great location for those wanting a place to stay during a road trip, but also quiet and peaceful if you want a few days away!
