Country Retreat - 2km to Hobbiton!

We are the closest Bed & Breakfast to Hobbiton which is just 2km up the road. Lie in bed & watch the sun rise over the Kaimai Range. Spectacular, uninterrupted rural views from this purpose built BnB. We provide a luxury King size bed with quality linen. There is a modern, spacious bathroom with a luxurious walk in shower. Centrally located, with less than an hours drive to Rotorua, Tauranga or Hamilton. Mystery Creek Events Centre (Feildays Site) 35 minutes. Waitomo Caves 1½ hours away.

Treetops studio by Lake Karapiro

Relax and unwind in our intimate studio by Lake Karapiro. Treetops studio is situated in a peaceful garden setting with lovely views over the treetops above Lake Karapiro. At the end of the drive(500m) is the Karapiro domain - enjoy a short walk to have a coffee at the Podium cafe or cycle/walk the Te Awa cycleway. We are 20mins from Hamilton airport and a great location to access local tourist attractions: Cambridge 10mins, Hobbiton 30mins, Rotorua 1hour, Waitomo caves 1 hour.

Owharoa Hideaway

Owharoa Hideaway offers couples a self contained stay in a rural setting. A north facing aspect located above the Karangahake Gorge just a short walk/drive from the Owharoa Waterfall where the most scenic parts of the Hauraki rail-trail cycle-way can be accessed. Modern fittings are used throughout the luxurious semi-detached bathroom that is nestled amongst trees. From the cottage deck survey the Coromandel and watch tui, bellbird, kereru, kaka and more vie for your attention.

Tahi Totara

Our studio conversion offers contemporary open plan lodgings. An equipped kitchen unit, dining setting, lounge area including bedroom with king size bed that also splits into two singles if required. The bathroom offers double shower. A second separate bedroom offers two king single beds a second bathroom plus laundry. A continental breakfast is provided. The accommodation is a 5 minute walk from CBD and a short car drive to scenic points of interest in the district .

Cambridge Chalet

Lovely comfortable self-contained cabin for two adults. It is situated 10 minutes from Lake Karapiro, and Cambridge. The Velodrome, Hamilton Airport and Mystery Creek are 15 minutes away. Relaxing setting in gardens in a quiet neighbourhood. The kitchenette comes with a kettle, microwave, and toaster but no hob, stove, or oven. Please note that as the Chalet is in a residential neighbourhood, all additional visitors must leave by 10:00pm.

Morrinsville is a centrally located Waikato town. It is less than two hours from Auckland and both coasts and half an hour from Hamilton. The accommodation is walking distance to the town centre with supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The studio room has it's own access and is set in a large restful section with mature trees. You will have a peaceful private place to stay with a garden view.

Easy access to Hobbiton - 20 min drive, Waitomo Caves - 55 min drive. Hamilton Gardens - 25 min drive. 2 hours drive from Auckland. NO PETS allowed please.
