A few host items will be in the house and kitchen. 40mins to the black water rafting in Waitomo Caves. 25mins from Hobbiton and the set of the lord of the rings.

Karapiro Lake View is an 8 year old modern 4 bedroom home overlooking the lake and the international Rowing course. Boat ramp and swimming 200 m away at the end of the street, and the rowing course and cafe are 5 minutes walk just the other side of the Karapiro dam. 2 canoes, paddles and lifejackets, sunny outdoor decks, BBQ and fantastic views make this a special place to relax. Also a concept 2 rowing machine, and 2 bicycles. 1.5 hrs from AKL Airport - perfect after an international flight

Beautiful 1 bedroom stand alone cottage that can sleep 4. A private oasis on a rural property surrounded by trees with views of rolling paddocks and farm animals. Full kitchen with all you need. Or a short drive to town will serve you with plenty of local eateries and takeaway options. One spacious bedroom with a queen bed and access to the deck. Sit back and enjoy sensational views of the Wairere Falls from various spots in our farm cottage which is situated in the heart of the Kaimai Ranges. The well renowned Wairere Falls walking track is only 3km from the cottage for those keen to get out and enjoy the beautiful nature walk. Opal Hot Springs is a 5-minute drive and the best way to relax and unwind. Matamata is a 12-minute drive with excellent food options and various tour bus options out to the Hobbiton movie set.

Signal Ridge Cottage is a renovated and modern little cottage, located on a working dairy farm 14km from Matamata. Neighbouring Hobbiton, and with beautiful views of the Kaimai Ranges, we have all you need for comfort away from home. Enjoy the toast, cereal, yoghurt, eggs, fruit and milk provided for breakfast on the first morning of your stay as well as complimentary tea and coffee. There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry with washer and dryer for your use.

A Place in the Paddock

This properties entrance is on the Hauraki Cycle Trail, only 2.5 km from town. The cottage is surrounded by farm land. You will have exclusive use of this 3 bedroom country home which easily accommodates 7 people. An 11 minute drive to the sensational Wairere Falls bush walk . 17 minutes to Hobbiton Movie set . Has foam mattresses for groups up to 11 as well as a portacot. Please be aware of electric fences on driveway( but not near house surroundings )

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Washing machine, hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided.
