Gorgeous saltillo tile in the living areas with beautiful wood beam accents, and a kiva-style fireplace for cozy winter nights. The primary suite offers direct access to the covered patio for summer dips in the pool and evening Sunsets. The 4th bedroom is huge and could be used as a second living area. This gorgeous casita is located just a few short blocks (about 1/4 mile) from the plaza in Old Mesilla where you will find tons of great restaurants (mostly delicious Mexican food), wineries, bars, unique shopping and fun events. There is a market in the square on Fridays and Sundays with neat jewelry, art and other local treasures. The area is rich in history and culture and has many tales of days when Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett used to wonder the village.

The building is fully renovated with stainless steel new appliances and dual refrigerated air mini splits, one in the living room, and one in the bedroom. Please note there is a train that occasionally travels near the neighborhood.

Our guesthouse is located on historic Highway 28, also known as the Don Juan de Onate Trail, which connects El Paso and Las Cruces. It is one of the area's most scenic routes. The highlight of the 10-mile drive from our little house in San Miguel to historic Mesilla takes you through unique canopies of pecan trees, in the largest pecan-producing county in the nation.

Once you stay here you will want to come back; it’s a home away from home.
