1811 Cottage at Sunflower Farm

The 1811 Cottage is as unique as the 120 acre farm it sits on with it's wide heart pine plank walls, ceilings, floors, and the duel fireplaces. This historic settler's home features a living room, master bedroom on the main floor, and a huge sleeping loft, making it comfortable and cozy for one to six guests. Modern additions include a large bathroom with claw foot tub and shower and a nicely equipped, yet tiny kitchenette. The front porch is a great spot for that early morning cup of coffee!

Our Cottage is a modernized 100 year old tenant house with a large attractive shower, kitchenette with microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, and dishes. eating table for four, and TV/DVD. . Extra towels and central heat and air. The cottage and property are often described as peaceful, country charm and nature's beauty. The front porch with a view of main house, built in 1873 which we restored, pastures, horse grazing, sun rise, or sun set is a favorite of guests. Welcome!

We have all the charm and quiet of country living, but are less than 10 minutes from Downtown Gray, where you will have access to gas, groceries, & restaurants. We’re about 20 minutes from Downtown Macon & Milledgeville.

Renovated 1928 cottage on a former asylum campus

Into the macabre? Stay on the campus of what once was the largest mental asylum in the world. Stay in a fully renovated craftsman, 1920's cottage situated on the corner of a large pecan grove, across from the Central State Hospital infirmary. Walking, driving or trolly tours are available to learn all about the history of one of the nation's oldest and largest institutions for the mentally ill. Note: Buildings are closed to the public. There are no tours inside buildings.

The suite is attached to the main home by a patio roof but does not share an entrance or heating/AC with the main home (about 25 ft between them). Pets welcome, no cleaning fees or pet fees!

Our tiny cabin is on a secluded, wooded 20 acre homestead in a very rural area. It's a quiet place where everyone is welcome. There is almost no light pollution here; on a clear night you'll have an amazing view of the stars. The cabin has internet and a smart TV. We're one mile from downtown Irwinton's gas station, local diner, small local market, and Dollar General. Dublin, Macon, Milledgeville, I-75 and I-16 are all about a 30 minute easy drive with little traffic.

Hardware Loft Shannon Building

Loft above a bustling small town hardware store. The Shannon Building was built as a warehouse in 1920. Then converted into offices upstairs and furniture store downstairs in the 1940's. This one of a kind loft apartment is renovated from the 1950's lawyer's office of JD Shannon. Located right in Jeffersonville, 25 minutes from Macon, 25 minutes from Robbins Air Force Base, 35 minutes from Dublin, it's the affordable and stylish location for your stay!
