Welcome to our cozy, vintage home! A nearby walk offers access to shops, art galleries, restaurants, and playgrounds. The area offers many hiking opportunities, too, including the Appalachian Trail, Baxter Park, and Mt. Katahdin. Kayaking, fishing, and bird-watching available right from the yard, and swimming, moose tours, rafting, hunting, and snowmobiling are also nearby! The host, a state-registered Master Guide, is able to issue hunting/fishing licenses on-site (see "Other" heading).

This peaceful camp is just perfect for you and your family or friends to see how much this beautiful part of Maine has to offer. It rests on its own private lot in a calm cove on South Twin Lake. It’s 15 minutes from Millinocket and approximately 45 minutes to Baxter State Park. The cottage is well equipped and has all new appliances, an eat-in kitchen as well as a gas and charcoal grill outside. Two bedroom second floor apartment, NO CLEANING FEE! Chalkboard wall, (with art and signatures from guests all over the world since 2018 dont forget to sign the wall) two tv’s (master bedroom and LR) with Netflix, Hulu, + access, and high speed internet! Owner occupied building. Street next to downtown, hiking trails, and snowmobile trails. We are not near a lake, no idea why airbnb did that and can not change it. We are near a river that many take kayaks and canoes out onto.

Can't promise you will see a rainbow out our window, but on a clear day, when the leaves have fallen off the trees, you can see Katahdin!

This very private property consists of the entire peninsula. There is a large dock that is great for fishing, boating and swimming on the opposite side of the peninsula.
